Great story Dr Seuss, I enjoyed it.

Please do not blame fellow Vol fans for losing recruits. It is not my fault, nor other fellow Vol fans fault our coach loses every game that matters. Maybe you should question if DD is a real Vol fan? He seems to be the one costing us recruits. I like you trying to spin it though. It speaks to where we are as a football power in the SEC.

I have ran/do run several business ventures. Your "FACTS", are just fabricated BS that you spout off while quoting articles that do not confirm anything you say. Maybe it makes sense n your mind. NO WHERE has Hart said he needs boosters to offer up 20+ million for him to hire a coach. NO WHERE has that been said. The buyouts are clear. The way these buyouts would be paid out if needed are clear. They are set up to be paid out MONTHLY. 20 million is a worthless number to even look at as considering what the cost of ALL the buyouts plus the total contract for the new coaches would not be paid up front.

Your looking for excuses to keep a career losing coach. You try and blame everyone else for our coaches faults and lack of ability. I understand your frustration with losing, blaming fans instead of the coaches responsible for it, speaks loudly to your ignorance and cluelessness.

:hi:

These are all good and valid points. Let me add something. We have history at Tn regarding this coaching situation. Most people liked Buzz but it was obvious to myself and a lot of others that he was in over his head. Good man, recruited ok, players quit for the most part getting in trouble and etc. Does anyone remember what Bruce did his first year with players from Buzz that played as though they had no clue? NCAA tourney nice seed. Sometimes you have to make a change but you have to get the right guy as we did with Bruce. That is really the problem. We can't get it wrong. Hamilton obviously got lucky with Pearl. He fired Delmonico for Raleigh? Fulmer for Kiffin/Dooley? Peterson for Pearl. If Hart can't do better than Hamilton in hiring then we need to stand pat. I hope we win at least one of the next two and win out to at least stop the bleeding. The next two weeks are our season.

IMO, there is no reason to "stand pat". How will we know what Hart can do hire wise, unless he does it? Maybe he makes a great big time hire. Maybe he takes a chance on Smart or another up and coming coordinator. Either option would give us hope going into 2013. Standing pat, is just accepting UT and winning is no longer priority #1 for this program.

You gotta go Kentucky on 'Bama and give CP the ball 40 times....and let him run, run, run, and run some more. I don't care how you do it. Get the ball into that kids hands...period!

I agree. My comment was we should not be afraid to make the change if we get the right one because we did with Pearl. No guts,no glory. I think DD is Buzz.

Not really. Buzz made no improvements to the roster or anything else.

Worst case scenario with Dooley is that he leaves a very good foundation that can be built on if the right replacment is hired.

I think some of you forget what the last few years of Fulmer were like. Great signing classes leading to even greater disappointment as talented guys either got in trouble, flunked out of school, or proved to be no good at the college level. Discipline on and off the field was poor except when Cut was around. Top tier teams dominated the Vols even as Fulmer's record was padded by beating up on the Vandy's and UK's of the world.

Fulmer was a great Vol for most of his life. But at the end he lost perspective of himself and the program. He drove the program that he loved and gave so much to into the ground and refused to see it.

I heard that a donor just dished out some serious cash to the AD and said he wouldn't give another penny if Dooley is gone after this season.

If other stories are true about other donors wanting to pay his buyout - seems as there will be some infighting at the top
