Per UK President Lee Todd...

He could get them there. But re-opening recruitment is very very risky. That usually means they go somewhere else. It's hard enough to get them to commit to one school much less two. Xavier would probably go to Kansas since they were runner up to Memphis, and Wall would probably end up at Baylor since they have his AAU coach.

They usually commit to coaches, not schools. Though you are right, Xavier could bolt for Kansas.

I really don't think any realistic candidates on their current list are too bad for us.

UK fans are saying Billy D's a done deal, and will be announced next week. They are also saying Calipari was never in consideration, too much baggage from UMASS days.

I was hoping like hell for Tubby to return to UGA so he could play them twice a year. Now, I hope Clyde goes there.

:eek:lol:

More like Calipari was never considering UK.

And and Baylor hired Wall's AAU Coach. That didn't happen by accident. I think Cousins would follow Cal but the other two would go elsewhere. Memphis also has two Juco guys that look solid. Will Coleman and...I forget his first name Dodson. That would be a heck of a roster to leave behind.

Will Coleman Dunk

Both of these Juco guys are very good. Wall already took a visit to Baylor a couple of weeks ago and after the trip he said Memphis is still his leader hands down. It's just a matter of time.

Yea, I hard Will Coleman is "Dorsey-like." Cal would be leaving a very good things behind, but it is all moot.

If Cal stays and Tyreke goes, he'll be a Tiger. Right now I only view one of those as a certainty.

He also loved the fact that Cousins signed with Memphis. He really wants to play with a stud big man.

Agreed.

The NCAA came out and said Cal had 0 to do with it. He's never had any trouble with the NCAA

He doesn't have the best reputation. I am not saying that he deserves that. It seems like if he was half as bad as people say they would have found something by now. I think there are some high up boosters that would be afraid to take a chance on Cal, when you could have someone as "clean" as Donovan.

Tyreke is gone after this season. (IMO) There has been talk on campus about Reke staying 1 more year and going back to the 2 position and letting Wall run the point, but it's very, very small talk.

Thinking Billy Donovan is a paragon of ethical behavior would be in line with all the other Bizarro World logic held by UK boosters.
