Periscope...

Periscope is about the dumbest thing ive ever seen. I feel that way personally, but, then I choose to avoid social media like the plague. (With the exception of Linkedin for work). I let my wife do all that socializing. Now, if this Periscope is utilized by the age range it waa created and developed for, so be it.

Hermit IMO. :p

How do you search for topics on Periscope? I only know how to zoom in on K-town and maybe find a recruit Periscoping.

I had never heard of Periscope until last year when they did the 1 of 119 scavenger hunt using Twitter and Periscope. That was fun. I am hoping they do that again.

I just downloaded it last night and felt a little creepy using it, but hey, I'm still a relatively young 28. I need to be better about accepting and adapting to new tech. It's actually pretty easy once you get going. Basically once someone you follow on Twitter starts broadcasting live, your phone will alert you. You can search out folks by name if you click the top right button and then the magnifying glass

I think periscope is cool but I agree with the statement that it could bring trouble if not used wisely. From what I understand it was encouraged as a hype building tactic and seems to be working. Anytime one of those guys log on they have 400 people watching almost instantly. It makes you feel like you can get to know these guys on a deeper level in a way (not a creep) Beware though it is a battery killer
