Persecution of Christianity is becoming overt instead of covert.

While the man himself is exceedingly un-Christian or any other known religion, Trump's public political agenda is in line with some traditional religious values. His spitefulness and personal foibles are generally overlooked by those who agree with what they see as his agenda. Meanwhile the political opposition, and their spitefulness, can easily be seen as actively working against traditional religious values.
It's easy to see how a religious person would vote for Trump.

"Foibles" isn't quite the word to describe the gangster's issues. He's a complete lowlife--disgusting, deeply corrupt, a pathological liar--just for starters. He doesn't have an ethical bone in his body. His agenda is to play the rubes for the gullible folks that they are.

No. I consider Christmas to be a Christian holiday. When I was a kid both my parents worked Christmas Eve if it was a weekday. That seems to have changed over time. Christmas eve may still not be a bank holiday. However, if you couldnt figure it out, the point of my comment is that i don't know why new years eve is being referenced as a Christian holiday.

Edit: I'm looking for examples of Christmas eve as a recognized holiday apart from Christmas day for fed govt/banks. I'll share if I find anything. Let me know if you find any information about NYE as a Christian holiday. From what I remember from history class, new years day was in April until the middle ages.
And....."if you couldnt figure it out" it is pretty obvious that the poster made an error when typing their message because the article clearly says Christmas Eve. I mentioned that several posts ago, and because it doesn't fit your agenda, you want to keep going down the road of "New Years Eve".

If Christmas falls on a weekend, banks close on either the Friday before or the Monday after. Can’t say I’ve really paid attention during the week, but I will this year. They might close early on Christmas Eve if it falls during the week. I know a lot of other businesses incorporate Christmas Eve into the Holiday and give employees the day off too. I’m in a 24/7 industry and have worked several Christmas Eves and Days through the years.
I really don't think Christmas eve is a traditional day off unless Christmas is on a weekend.

My agenda is that NYE isn't a Christian holiday and Christmas Eve hasn't traditionally been a day off either. You and the tweeter who is so reverent of Christmas eve, but can't figure out when Christmas eve occurs, can whine all you want. Feel free to share any examples of Christmas eve as a traditional Christian holiday and day off work. Curious if you find out what banks do and have traditionally done. Hope it fits your agenda.

I've always thought of Christmas eve like the day after Thanksgiving. It's nice to get the day off if you can, but not a holiday. Of course some people are now closing Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday for Thanksgiving.

That is the whole point of his tweet. At the place he is referring to, it has evidently been a traditional paid day off, and now it is not.

Given that the Twitter troll/bot either doesn't know when Christmas eve is or thinks NYE is a Christian holiday, I doubt the veracity of the claim. However I don't see how closing for a federal/bank holiday in replacement of an unrecognized holiday is worthy of pearl clutching.

That's a pretty accurate description of both Trump and Biden, and unfortunately many more in DC.

It's not. It's perfectly in line with OP. Use evidence that doesn't demonstrate Christians are under attack to make the claim that Christians are under attack. Rinse and repeat.

There are actually real cases of Christian discrimination, but I guess they are so few and far between, we have to use complete BS to peddle the narrative.

I'm guessing the poster of the tweet is upset that a traditional paid holiday , that likely meant something to them or their family, was replaced by another holiday that was recently made a federal holiday.

We could make examples for each of us, I would think, that would be upsetting because we have a more personal connection. I'm not sure if you are a Christian or not, but I'm thinking that had something to do with why the poster tweeted it and why some here want to mock it.

So do you find this to be evidence of an open attack on Christianity by the employer?

In 10 years, let's say they swap paid holidays from Juneteenth back to Christmas Eve, are you here making the same "pearl clutching" comments?

So the bot tweet talks about Christians not getting a paid day off on new years eve or Christmas eve or whatever; references GA indicting Christians; is posted in a thread asserting that Christianity is under open attack; you acknowledge you don't see it as an attack on Christians; yet you don't see it as pearl clutching.

I answered your question honestly, care to answer mine?

With that answer, it appears I hit the nail on the head, and it goes back to the point of this thread. Have a good day.
Im gonna ask you to show your work on that assertion. I think the only time you've hit anything on the head is when you admitted that the bot's tweet did not show any evidence of an open attack on Christianity.
