Maybe I just have a Breaking Bad hangover, but I was pretty bored by the first 2 episodes. I guess the new nemesis has potential but I don't know, it didn't get me that excited.

I guess I was just surprised at how bad the acting was in the first 2 episodes.

The new night and later time slot is hurting it, not to mention Shaw's character has really damaged the group dynamic. CBS screwed up big time with the move.

I love Shaws character, ESP after the last one...everybody sorta making fun of her pissed off look lol...plus she is HOTT

I think it was a mistake to make her a full time character. She's destroying the dynamic that was between Finch and Reese.

Essentially she's just a female Reese, and completely unnecessary.

I think that they should've made her character a friend/foe dynamic.

She sucks as a regular.

The fact is Sarah Shahi can't act to save her life, the only good thing she brings is a pretty face.

Seriously John hasn't done a single thing since the start of the season.

Some numbers:

S3EP1 - 12.44 million
S3EP2 - 12.35 million
S3EP3 - 11.65 million

That 11.65 is the worst rating since episode 8 in season 1. The show is bleeding viewers because of CBS.

i's have been happy if they'd kept more with the base premise and not tried to advance the big story so much. i'd still watch every week if there were no grand scheme story and it was just saving some random person as long as the story behind the motive and what not were good

I gave it a fair shot but I think I'm with you on this. Poor Fusco I don't think even spoke in this last episode and I'd rather see more of Reese than Shaw. Reese made this show.

I have no idea why they are keeping Root in the show or why the machine has allied with her.

This season is terrible. Tuesday's episode was hard to finish.

For one I don't get why they keep getting such bad actors to play the secondary characters. The woman they were helping was horrible.

Two, it's getting so predictable. Oh her new partner is with the bad guys...didn't see that one coming a mile away.

And finally, yeah I'm sure a woman jumping off a six story roof is just going to land softly in a garbage truck.

I had flashbacks to the pilot when that happened. Oh, and next week's preview looks like it'll be bad ass.

Excellent episode tonight. By far the best of this season. Carter going HAM. Shaw developing some depth. Reese getting involved.

The only question I have from tonight's show is did Simmons get arrested? The writer's kind of left it ambiguous...

Eh, it was better, but I wouldn't call the last episode excellent. It's still subpar compared to previous' seasons.

Shaw is still a terrible character. They are giving her WAY too much focus and screen time. And I still don't understand why the acting is so terrible by most of the non-main cast.

The show has rebounded in the ratings though, the last episode rose up to a 13.17, the highest rating of the season.

Hopefully the reason Shaw is on the show is because Jim Caviezel dethroned Tom Cruise as Jack Reacher and is taking back his rightful role.

Just for a second I thought Root and Shaw were going to make out. Oh well, it was still interesting.
