Person of Interest

Hopefully the reason Shaw is on the show is because Jim Caviezel dethroned Tom Cruise as Jack Reacher and is taking back his rightful role.

Boom!
:)

That would be awesome...except Chris Pine has already done that...but Jim would have been awesome at it...I mean he did play Jesus Christ, everything else is child's play to him...

The Root character is lame, I wish they would go ahead and kill her off.

I'm thinking the previews may be a way for the PoI writers to try and throw us off track. CBS nor the show would potentially spoil something that big. Maybe another character dies to save Fusco?

John - Doubt it
Finch - Really doubt it
Carter - I could see it. She has been getting less & less screen time. Not to mention her whole goal has been to take out HR. With that gone what is next? No one would see this coming. Not to mention maybe this is why Shaw was promoted to a regular?
Shaw - Really hoping it could be her...

Tonight's show was intense from start to finish, that hour went by quick. Still haven't figured out who might be the "hero that falls".

Tonight was a game changer.

Few TV shows leave me speechless but this episode did that. Was on the edge of my seat the entire time.

I have a hard time believing that they let Carter die. The fact that they saved John without Root tells me she's a goner.

For someone reason we're getting an extra episode this season, it was originally going to be 22. Wonder what or why they added a last minute addition?

This is interesting!!

Taraji P. Henson Knew Her 'Person Of Interest' Character's Fate For Years

Taraji P. Henson knew about her shocking "Person of Interest" fate for years.

"I knew when I signed on to do the project the character would have a beginning, middle and end," Henson said on "Late Show with David Letterman. "Because for me, I do more feature films and television is really not my thing."

Henson's character saved the day, but paid the ultimate price in the Tuesday, Nov. 19 episode of "Person of Interest." The Oscar-nominated actress said she knew her character would die, but just wasn't sure when. She told her mom and grandma she'd be killed off, but other than that, mum was the word.

"Because you can't shock grandma like that," she said. "She might go into cardiac arrest."

Henson told EW she was sad when she got the final script. "You portray a character for so long, you care about her and her life. But art imitates life -- it comes to an end unexpectedly. It was bittersweet, because I enjoyed portraying Carter. What a strong, powerful woman on television," she said.

As for the mood on set when she filmed her last scene? It was "bittersweet, even with the crew. "We laugh and we joke, but at the end of the laughs, it was a sigh. I was trying to keep the spirits up, so all night I was cracking jokes and not hugging and getting too emotional with everyone."

I think you're confusing Jack Ryan with Jack Reacher. Chris Pine plays Jack Ryan.

I thought the kiss between John and Carter was odd. I just never saw that coming and there certainly was no hint of chemistry there imo.

Can't believe they killed her off. I'm not sure how they came to the conclusion to kill her off and leave Fusco. If I had to pick between the two I'd have chosen Carter over Fusco any day. So what if she accomplished her goal of taking down HR. Fusco doesn't even have a goal, never did.

I give them props for having the guts to kill off Carter; it was very 24 like.

But at the same time, she was a very important character for the dynamic of the show. Her interactions with Reese and Finch were great; and that's going to be missing since Shaw sucks.

Anyone watch that last episode where Reese left and now Shaw's former employer now has her, Finch, and his friend who also built one of THE machines?

That fight between Reese and Fusco was entertaining even though Fusco was so out of his league. :)
