Pete Buttigieg on paternity leave during supply chain crisis...

No, he is very much still doing his job from his home office. The gay community is extremely covid conscious after aids. What's happening in the supply chain is not his fault, it's a world wide problem (a lot has to do with brexit, but there are a multitude of problems to solve, like no cpu's). I do wish he were more visible tho. If you insist on being at home, at least be visible during a crises you over see. He is a well loved mayor.
He was a terrible mayor for a small town. He's terrible at this given the moves being made by the fed govt. He's had his time off and needs to either get things moving or allow someone qualified to actually do the job

Let me get this right: bike lanes and slower traffic are the priorities to fix our transportation crisis???

Every day of this clown show is exactly the same. It's almost as if everyone in office was told to do the worst job possible and F everything up. That makes more sense to me than the entire lot of them being this stupid and incompetent.

I work for the federal government (yeah, yeah, I know,) and we have a “bike to work month,” where you can get a time off award if you log a certain number of miles and you get extra commute time since bikes are inherently slower than driving or subways.

All that to say, they aren’t thinking about the common man who lives in a suburb 30 minutes out of town, or over in the next county who depends on a car for everything, they’re thinking about places like New York and DC where it’s cheaper to live close to work and not have a car.
