Peterman will Start...

Obvious sarcasm...........He is the assistant equipment manager for the Vols for the past five years. Just saying

As I said, 99.9% of UT fans don't know who the assistant equipment manager for the team is and for that matter don't know who the manager is. But...thanks to them for what they do.

I think regardless of who wins the QB battle, we're gonna get a smart QB, that makes the plays he needs to.

I'm kind of glad that guy won't be a gun-slinger that feels the need to force plays when there are smarter options, although I do appreciate what Bray did for us.

I'm the worst kind of poster? Did I characterize his post
as "stupid crap?" And on what basis did he do so? I
stated my sources and claimed only that I had heard. He
never has identified any source and makes his statement
as though carved in stone.

Perhaps my posts should be unwarranted attacks on
others based on ignorance. It was my understanding, or
misunderstanding, that I had a right to an opinion. My
apologies.

You are a judge of writing styles? Really. I am a
published author (sorry, not comic books), a former
foreign correspondent who spent decades living in other
countries and used to write for an academic journal.
Again, my apologies for not meeting your standards.

Naturally, you missed my point. There are people calling
themselves fans that have no interest in the university.
Some of them neither realize nor care what impression
they make. Some of those impressions leave people
thinking less than others of us would like about a school
that we hold in esteem.

I'm glad you served your country. I guess my service in
Korea was too long ago to count.

Still pretentious. Keep trying.

I don't know, but if he would let the air out of balls like kiffins boy we would all know him by now!

Here's my thoughts on Peterman, along with his High School Highlights. I think he has great potential.

a great looking high light vid for sure,I bet CBJ is very excited at having to chose between Worley and Peterman,i think they are both excellent QBs ,which is a good thing for UT football,it will be interesting to see how it shakes out in spring practice,i bet it will be a ongoing thing till they get a few games into the season

I'd agree Peterman seems to be the guy who has the greatest opportunity---still curious as to see whether or not Butch brings in another other QB with Ferguson. You want a guy that can compete with Peterman/Worley or another young guy to groom with Ferguson? I say since Butch really didn't bring either Peterman or Worley he should throw in another guy to compete for the starting job.

LOL.

Lighten up a little. This is a UT football forum, and there is, shall we say, incredible diversity here. Much of what is said here hasn't even a passing resemblance to rational discourse. You'll quickly learn that your life accomplishments and claims of intelligence don't count for much on here. You're just another chump with opinions, just like the rest of us who post here. Hell, you're not a legitimate member of Volnation until you've been called all manner of colorful names and had your mother insulted in every imaginable way and had your very ancestry and status as a human being called into question. It's part of the fun and tradition of the forum. If you just go with the flow, it's actually a pretty fun and entertaining ride.

However, I am compelled to say that you err in painting too broad a negative picture of VOL fans who never had the opportunity to attend/graduate from UT. I never went to UT. But I attended my first UT football game in 1961 and have been living and dying with the Vols ever since. I BLEED orange. And I don't think I'm an embarrassment to UT. As a native Tennessean, I'm very proud of UT. I deeply respect the traditions of the university and the heritage of the football program. And I'm sure there are countless others like me here.

Thanks for your service in Korea, BTW. My brother served there as well.

What I have heard is that the team doesn't respect Worley.
That doesn't portend either the needed teamwork that has
not exactly been a hallmark of the Vols these past few
years nor leadership.

I dare you to diagram that sentence.

lol did you have an Outlook reminder popup to resurrect this thread if Peterman got the start in the Swamp?

No, I was just looking through old threads that I had posted on. It's fun to go back every once in a while and see who was right, wrong, or had a lucky guess.
