Hubbs was never healthy at any point this year. Tried to play through a shoulder injury but it got to the point that it required surgery. He should be much better next year.

See that's where our expectations differ. I think a winner should be defined by more than just getting to 20 wins, beating few teams that don't actually suck, not lose to teams that actually suck, sitting on the edge of your seat on selection Sunday to see if you go to the big dance or go to losers tourney, and when you go to the losers tournament you actually play and not get beat in your own arena by a team that you have to Google to see where they're from.

I agree if they don't want to be Vols then let them go but we don't need to take fans for granted either. We are losing fans at an alarming rate. I was brought up as a TN fan. I was taught any fan of another school was on the same level as Al Queda. Every year I see more and more apearal, licence plates, flags and other merchandise of opposing teams. This is particularly evident in kids that are growing up in the shadows of Neyland. They are tired of losing and with social media they get hammered if they fly their colors from peers all over the country. We need all the fans we can get to make VN strong.

Okay, then Pearl doesn't meet your definition either. Outside of one good run in the tournament, he didn't light it up. And he never won the SEC tournament either. The only coaches who would meet your definition are not going to be interested in Tennessee.

Just read on 247 Bruce Pearl is top choice for Auburn.. He needs to be back at Tennessee. Martin might be a nice guy but he is no SEC coach. Better get Bruce before Auburn... It's about winning and Bruce is a winner JMO
