It would be a negative recruiting paradise if he goes there. Would be years before he would be able to recruit good there. Even before this latest fiasco, he was never a big time recruiter.

People higher up haven't forgot about his Louisville days. And Mitch saved his job with Calimari. Football has and always will be a second thought.

Petrino got lucky that his scandal went down just prior to the Penn State debacle. That news was the only thing that kept his sorry a$$ off the front pages and headlines for a long time.

If KY forked out some money for a good coaching staff they could become a very competitive program.
There is a lot of talent within 150 miles of Lexington.

I don't see UK spending the money for Petrino. Despite his issues, he'll still command a million more a year than UK is willing to pay.

If things go south in Gainesville, Foley will go get Charlie Strong and I could see Petrino back at Louisville.

Petrino back at Louisville? LOLOLOL! He is haaaated in Louisville. IIRC, he was talking to Auburn? during the halftime of his last bowlgame while he was coaching at Louisville. No way. They haaaaate him.
