id like to know more about the letter the track athlete sent to him asking him to tell the truth...could all be a money grab...just..shocking.. i guess...first time I have heard this..either way, the winstead comparison is ridiculous..
He was getting an ankle taped up in the training room and "half mooned" a friend of his on the track team that was walking by and making off-color comments to him...The trainer Jamie Naughwright, happened to look up at the wrong time and caught a glimpse of his butt which was close to her face. He did not sit on her face - that is just wrong. He should not have done it but give me a break with this...Everyone thought this was funny at the time. Also, the trainer went by the nickname "Bumper" by players on the football team at the time because of the size of her best assets and even Fulmer knew of that nickname but said he never used it himself...She also dated players on the team back then and did not have a virtuous reputation...Mike Keith called her an opportunist on his talk show at the time and Mike was not one to call someone out without just cause. Mike Keith also said that he was aware that she had dated some football players even though she had been told not to by UT's admin. He did not name which players.
You care to elaborate how so or did you just log in to type wrong over and over?
What people need to understand is that most 20 year old dudes act douchey from time to time. Imagine when they are treated like gods. If Peyton did what the girl said, he's very lucky to get off.
But how hard would we be laughing if it were a male trainer?
Oh sure, he "apologized" she lost her Tennessee job, went elsewhere, got her PhD, got a good job in Florida but lost it after the Manning book came out, which essentially repeated the same old lies. Fed up, she rightly sued him.
After irrefutable evidence, eyewitness testimony, and Rollo's admission under oath he made up the lie about it just being mooning, the truth was finally out. All presented in a trial for the judge who made a bench ruling against Manning in her favor. This event has in fact ruined her life. Whatever the judge awarded her was not enough.
Don't be lazy, Google yourself. The trial records and judges unkind comments towards the Manning lies are available.
If you were there and witnessed what happened then by all means enlighten us with your account. Both the KNS and SportsTalk with Mike Keith covered this extensively at the time and their version of events do not agree with you (not that you are saying much of anything...but wrong).
"Bumper's" life is ruined? Really? It's really not that important to me but what you have written is pretty over the top....This sounds more like what she would want a sympathetic person to believe. Her reputation was not the best and she did continue to work as a trainer for UT well after the incident...That was pointed out frequently by Mike Keith and John Adams.

Look up your own stuff. I was there. Whited was a masters AT going for her PhD, which she got from UT. She stayed on as a trainer even after the incident. She left about the same time Manning did. Didn't know her personally, but had mutual friends. She was not an angel. Not that she deserved any form of sexual harassment, but most would tend towards believing anyone but her.
Go get the trial judges statement from the Florida lawsuit. I'm sure all the sporting male chauvinist pigs who come on this site to sit in their little male bonding circle jerks wouldn't believe anything I wrote about their demi-god they didn't want to believe anyway.
