I don't believe Peytone would leave for a division rival. He's no Johnny Damon.

It's not so much the same in the case of this league, but I see where you're going.

(though IMO "rival" is a strong as far as these teams go; different discussion though)

Just don't think he'd do it to the Colts fans who love him so much. If he wanted to coach, I think he'd stay out of the SEC east.

The Titan/Colts rivalry is no where as close as the Titans/Ravens or Titans/Steelers rivalries. Man I miss the old AFC Central days....

It actually hurt me to see Steve McNair in a purple Ravens jersey...

I wonder how many Colts fans here would still be Colts fans if the Titans had him?

I'm always an Redskins first fan, and Colts second. But I don't consider myself a Colts fan, but rather a Peyton manning fan.

The Colts are a solid team when they don't have half their team on IR.

Yea cause Peyton makes them solid. Think about it they're so small on defense that come playoff time they can't win after grinding out the season.

To play devil's advocate, it's not like peyton has not had this problem his whole career (college and pro).

Some of thew blame falls on him. Look up how many times the colts have been 1 and done in the playoffs....with the game being at home.

Unheard of for a hall of fame qb. He needs to look in the mirror too

Unheard of?

Warren Moon
John Elway
Dan Marino
Bret Favre
I can actually go on!

Ludacris post.

Honestly I'd take Brady over Manning if I was down 7 with a minute left in the Super Bowl...

he'll get in, he's got his name too high on too many records now plus 1 SB ring.

The only worries/discussions about it seem to be more from and/or towards an audience who wants him to get in AND be considered "the best ever"

the latter of which is always going to be subject to debate though depending on one's views on the position and the sport

The COLTS are one and done. They aren't balanced enough to win in the playoffs, it's a wonder how they even have one superbowl

Not a ludicrous post.

Check hall of fame qb's and their home playoff records.

Compare it with peyton.

Dude has been 1 and done several times in the playoffs with the games being at home

I know he'll get in. He's a no doubter who will get in on the 1st ballot no problem.

But, he aint close to the best ever.

Sorry
