I would disagree with the WR assessment. I would say they're relatively close. With Kendell Wright and Nate Washington, along with Delanie Walker and bright new rookie Justin Hunter. Chris Johnson also had a nice year receiving though the run game ultimately suffered- talent wise its a really good core group of players with the right QB could be great. WR wasn't the problem this year for the Titans. With Peyton Titans WRs would improve drastically statistically. Early in the year the Titans looked like a decent team 3-1, but after Locker's injury they only won 4 more games out of 12. The Titans had a better defense then Denver this year despite have an offense that was very anemic with Fitzpatrick at the helm. As Seahawks showed it takes defense to win Championships. While the Titans defense wasn't on the same caliber level as the Seahawks, obviously, I believe defensively and offensively the pieces were there for a very good season one piece was missing a QB.
I agree 100%. The Titans sure played better than the Broncos vs Seattle this year. Also, SF defense has been stout for years. People that are bashing me for mentioning him playing for SF instead of Denver are also the one's that think Peyton is the GOAT. After last night, I can't imagine their defense. HA
