PG Travon Landy Commits for 2013

I have seen Travon play, seeing as I'm an alum of Bob Jones, and he is going to be a very good PG for the Vols. You have to realize that he still has a year and a half before he even steps on campus so him growing another 2-3 inches isn't out of the realm of possibility. If I could compare him to anyone it would be Craft. He isn't gonna light up the score board but he can distribute the ball and score when necessary

please do not compare him to craft unless you truly see this as an accurate comparison. craft would be my absolute dream pg for this team and to think that we had him just makes it even worse.

It's straight. Yeah Travon is definitely not like Golden who tries to or is forced to score twenty a game, but he does have that ability. He has a good jump shot, extremely quick, and handles the ball very well.

yea anybody that says size matters clearly has no idea what they are talking about.

:ermm:

I think what he was trying to say is that PG's that size have trouble getting to the rim offensively, and that's true, save for the truly elite. Small PG's can be effective, and any reasonable person would be silly to argue otherwise given the numerous examples to the contrary. However, being an effective PG, and getting to the rim and finishing effectively are not the same thing.

And then again, maybe I misread Willie's intent.
