I think they called out the wrong number. The hold was actually on 76, Spragins. I saw it rewatching tonight. It wasn’t much, but he did wrap and release. Should not have been called.
Bc the sec is all about money. They were probably setup so ou brand didn’t get a big L national spotlight. That game could’ve been waaay worse. Their offense was tiny. Keep the T brand strong and maintain ou.I’m not sure how the greatest conference has the worst refs in college football. It’s a joke at this point.

That’s what I thought as well. The play where Nico crosses the 1st down marker then they said he started his slide. It looked to me more of a dive to get of bounds.. what y’all think?
I thought the worse call was the personal foul hit above the shoulders in the 4th qtr that extended the drive for OU in our redzone. Basically just grazed the QB's helmet with his hand after jumping up to try to bat the pass down. Even the officiating guru the broadcast team relies on thought it was weak.
The new 2 minute warning timeout is the biggest F-U to viewers in a long time. They took away stopping the clock on first downs under 4 minutes, where at least we could see game action, and replaced it with a 6 minute commercial break.I hate sounding like a conspiracy theorist, but as much money as Disney is paying to take over sports (ESPN, ESPN+, ABC, The company is in the midst of finalizing an agreement with Fox Sports and Warner Bros. Discovery to launch a sports streaming service that will carry games from the NFL, MLB, NBA, and NHL.)
I am starting to believe they are paying the NCAA to keep games competitive and casual viewers from changing the channel.
Not to mention, the new clock procedures that have done nothing but give us more commercials. I openly noticed and even commented last night and NC State about how many commercial breaks there seemed to be.
I also rewatched the game and different guys on our defensive line were being grabbed and pulled down...I don't think there were any flags thrown the whole game...How is that possible?
Also, I wish Squirrell could stay on his feet when he catches a ball...It's become comical.
Why can'tSquirrelBru stay on his feet?
