The Vols do have a chance of winning tomorrow, you always have a chance of winning. Upsets happen all the time.

Do you think anyone outside of Vols fans thought we had a chance in hell against Miami in the Sugar Bowl in 86? No, they didn't including the Miami staff and players. They underestimated a team and they got their butts kicked.

Do you think anyone outside of Appalachian State thought they had a snowballs chance against Michigan in the Big House? No, they didn't including the Michigan staff and players. They underestimated a team that had a fighters mentality to not stop fighting for 60 minutes.

I do hope that Coach Richt is stupid enough to underestimate this team but I have the feeling he learned his lesson about first year UT coaches and underestimating them from Kiffin. If his players are smart they will listen to him because they may get into a dog fight for 60 minutes tomorrow whether they want it or not.

I watched the end of the game last week between LSU and Georgia. Georgia players and coaches were celebrating like they won the SEC championship. CMR was crying tears of joy while God blessing the crowd. It was a very emotional game for them. Over the top if you ask me but my whole point is I dont think they can bring that same emotion two weeks in a row and if there was ever a time to beat a good team its after an emotional win. I am hoping for a packed crowd of orange and white and showing our (50+) recruits how we do it on Rocky Top. Go Vols!

They won't need emotion to put us away, just going through the motions and not killing themselves like Florida almost did will suffice.

I think we keep it close for a half, but Ga wins by 10 to 17 points. They have too much offense and we lack depth to keep up. Still say we have a shot at SC, though.

On the Bill King show this morning that we cover and it will go down to the wire.

This could be the perfect storm? Gurley out, Matthews out. Letdown game... A couple turnovers and you never know.

He said if everyone was healthy and UGA wasn't coming off that big win, UGA wins easily BUT we do have those factors in our favor.

Phil Steele knows what he's doing.

I can see this game being over by the middle of the second quarter. Even if our defense plays lights out, our pitiful, impotent offense will keep them on the field all day allowing Georgia to score at least 28 points by default. I would suggest ingesting most of your alcohol by halftime because watching four quarters of this imminent beat-down may make some people violent, and alcohol and anger issues aren't healthy.

If he thinks this team is vastly improved, then he obviously hasn't been watching UT football that close. Defense as a whole, yes. Running backs, yes. Everything else, no. As a team, no. 99% of this is centered around our QB play. If we had a good QB, then this might change. Until this changes, it will continue to get worse. Mark my words, the next few weeks are going to test fans patience.

It would be nice to show that on one of those Up-Green-Arrow, Black-Dash, or Down-Red-Arrow charts with each position. To my untrained eye, it would look like.

Offense
QBs - down
RBs - even
WRs - down
TEs - down
OL - even

Defense
DL - Up
LBs - Even
DBs - Up

Special Teams
Kickoff - Even
Punting - Up
FG/EP - Up
Kick ret - Down
Punt Ret - down

She married for the love of money, so technically...

Good point. A/S don't cause cancer if you don't put em in your body and WMDs were in Iraq after we took them and killed a mass of over 1 milliion people. Just love lawyerin'.

how does it go?

"They said artificial sweeteners didn't cause cancer, there were WMDs in Iraq, and Anna Nicole married for love!"

It appears that some folks in this thread need to brush up on their movie quotes, getting a few heavy comments off this one. I liked it.
