Lawmakers announce Impeachment Proceedings targeting Left-Wing Philadelphia DA

Pennsylvania state lawmakers on Monday unveiled articles of impeachment against Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner.

State Reps. Josh Kail, Torren Ecker, and Tim Oā€™Neal, all Republicans, cited Krasnerā€™s alleged failure to curb ā€œunchecked violent crimeā€ and his ā€œwillful refusalā€ to ā€œenforce existing lawsā€ as reasons for beginning the impeachment process.

They also pointed to a recent mass shooting in the cityā€™s downtown South Street neighborhood as ā€œunderscor[ing]ā€ the need for lawmakers to ā€œtake immediate action."

Krasner has long been a lightning rod for conservative attacks as a result of his progressive criminal justice reform priorities, such as seeking shorter prison sentences for crimes, relaxing terms of supervision for individuals on parole or probation, and strictly limiting the use of cash bail, which critics have lambasted as soft on crime and a dereliction of prosecutorial responsibility. Under his tenure as district attorney, the City of Brotherly Love has experienced a dramatic increase in homicides and gun violence in comparison to past years.

Teenagers Use Traffic Cone to Beat 72-Year-Old Man To Death

The Philadelphia Police Department released footage Friday that showed a large group of teenagers using a traffic cone to beat a 72-year-old man to death.

James Lambert died after he was ambushed and savagely beaten with a traffic cone at about 2:38 a.m. June 24, police said.

"The teens struck the victim several times with objects, knocking the victim to the ground causing injuries to his head," according to police.

In the video published by the Philadelphia police, one of the men can be seen running up behind Lambert and beating him over the head with the cone while another man films.

A woman then picks up the cone and smashes it on the elderly man's head.

Lambert manages to escape and run for a moment, but a woman throws the cone at his back.

Democrats And Republicans Join Forces To Investigate Philadelphiaā€™s Woke District Attorney

Larry-Krasner-scaled.jpg

Republicans and Democrats in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives announced a new committee this week devoted to examining rising crime rates in Philadelphia, hinting toward the recommended impeachment of District Attorney Larry Krasner (D-PA).

The ā€œSelect Committee on Restoring Law and Orderā€ ā€” led by three Republicans, as well as two Democrats representing Philadelphia ā€” was created through the adoption of House Resolution 216. The legislation calls for lawmakers to investigate violent crime rates and the use of funds to prosecute offenders, and to make determinations on Krasnerā€™s performance and suggest ā€œremoval from office or other appropriate discipline, including impeachment.ā€

I'll bet they aren't charged with anything that puts them in pound me in the ass prison. Hey.. it was 2;30 in the morning... What was that old man doing there anyway? They were just having a good time.

They insult the man's memory by talking about charges they will never bring.

Police in Philadelphia say that children as young as 10 took part in mob that ransacked and looted a Wawa convenience store over the weekend.

The crowd of roughly 100 people, who appear to be mostly juveniles, trashed the store, threw items at clerks, and jumped on top of cars parked outside, cops say.

The disturbing scenes of mayhem unfolded shortly after 8pm on Saturday, at the WaWa on Roosevelt Boulevard in Philadelphia's Mayfair neighborhood.

Police say that the flash mob appears to have been orchestrated through a post on social media, and cops are seeking assistance from the public in tracking down the perpetrators.

'The birthplace of liberty is a cesspool': Crime Wave Sweeps 'lawless' Philadelphia with more than 750 People Shot since Memorial Day and rampant smash-and-grabs wrecking businesses

Philadelphia residents have decried a recent spate of violent crime that has seen more than 750 people shot since the end of May, as a series of high profile incidents have rocked the crime-ridden city.

Shootings have occurred every day of the week and at any given hour of the day since May 31 - with nearly every corner of the city impacted.

The crime wave, meanwhile, has spared no one - with one incident this past week seeing a Temple University grad murdered by a masked gunman while walking the street, and another claiming the life of a 14-year-old football player when he was heading home from a school scrimmage.

Mass looting and other brazen assaults have also been commonplace, such as one over the weekend that saw more than 100 children as young as 10 storm and ransack a Wawa convenience store.

In another, filmed incident, a commuter was held at gunpoint by a masked marauder while waiting for the subway - further outraging fed-up Philadelphians.
