I saw a few of his games in high school and he mostly just stood around on offense at the high post. I'm not sure if he was just lazy or the talent was lacking on his team. As some has suggested on this forum the guards on that team thought they were something. Marion County High school handled them pretty good and our center who was a soph last year outplayed Jurich. Cody Henegar (Jr) is about 6-7 and he is going to be a pretty good player. Bruce Pearl needs to come see this kid play. Anyone know if TN has any interest in Cody Henegar???

Yes, I did go to East Ridge. It aint nearly as bad as most people say. It still isn't a shining jewel of Chattanooga though :)

Not lazy, but he was a one man team. His junior year was the only year he had a team around him. His senior year he was getting triple covered and cheap calls on him. I saw him 2 weeks ago. He looks nothing like the player in high school. I am sure Marion's center did do well against jurick last year.....with the help of 2-3 others. Last year he was the only senior worth a dang on the team. There is a reason why Bruce Pearl came to alot of his games....Not to mention IU's coach and Tubby Smith watching when he was at Kentucky.

I Went To High School With Phillip And I Was Wondering Why He Isn't Playing??

Because he is junk. Slow and weak. Played against him and he is just big thats it. But hey he is a Vol so i'm not going to hate because Pearl sees something in him
