I agree. What has made it even worse over the last couple of generations is that our cultural focus as a people has changed from a) being a good person and member of society (the outlook of our parents and grandparents) to b) self actualization. This has taken natural human selfishness and put it into overdrive. That explains the protests, the theft, the demands for ever increasing benefits, and the demand for any lifestyle choices or chosen identities to be accepted unquestionably. We have become a nation of spoiled brats having a meltdown in the candy aisle of the department store. The greatest generation has to be shaking their heads in shame.
