Phrases/Cliches that annoy you.

My fiance' absolutely kills me with this one. "I'm not tryin' to be ugly, but....." Which is followed by something quite ugly.

"I haven't talked to (whoever) in a hot minute"

Breath with your mouth closed, please. These same people make up the crowd that camped outside our newly opened Dairy Queen in a Winchester, TN, for almost two days.

Ahahahaha place has been open for days and it still has a constant ring of like twenty cars around it. These kind of people are crazy

Where I live, "USC" and "Carolina" means the University of South Carolina, and that's fine with me. Bump Southern Cal and the Tar Heels. And if we're gonna make the longevity argument, USC was around way before Southern Cal was. In fact, the original school was around 50 years before California was even a state.

Any time something has No Offense but, Not to sound like a jerk but, or anything followed with a but it's a tactic to put a veil on what is going to be something offensive, insulting, or anything negative so the person will be mislead or fooled that it's not ugly, insulting, snide, or anything else negative.
It's like the whole bullcrap cliche breakup line it's not you it's me as most often it's the other person.

Bae and boo in relationship context. All violators should be shot.

Have you ever heard any calling taking a dump, a "boo, boo".

I used to work with a black lady from Philly who used this phrase. It was the strangest thing I've ever heard an adult say.

Lol, no I haven't. I probably will now that I'll be listening for it.

The bible condones Rape.

There is a verse that makes it cut and dry condemning rape with the penalty being kill the rapist while the woman is spared as she is a victim and innocent of any wrongdoing. Any other time it's brought up it's condemned yet doubters and critics want to point also to women captured during war time they were raped along with ones that became apart of the culture when nothing in the scripture shows that to be the case.

When something happens in the bible it's said in a straight forward manner. It's not going to use a euphemism, or hint at something but not say it in a straight forward manner.

Maybe
It could be used by women or men when being asked out as they want to avoid having to say no.
This gives the Person a false impression that possibly they could be interested when really they aren't, and result in the person possibly being asked again several days later much to the dismay of the person that wasn't straight forward in just saying no to begin with.
