Phrases/Cliches that annoy you.

"Boys will be boys."

I have 2 little boys. This phrase typically follows bad behavior. It's never, "such good manners...boys will be boys."

slut > playa

Playas rely on manipulation and trickery, "playing" others to get their physical affection. Sluts let you know what they are and still take it from you.

"I haven't talked to (whoever) in a hot minute"

Breath with your mouth closed, please. These same people make up the crowd that camped outside our newly opened Dairy Queen in a Winchester, TN, for almost two days.

I hate when people abbreviate the names of cities like The Boro. Is it really that much effort to say Murfreesboro?

Hate when people use USC for South Carolina. USC is the Trojans. South Carolina is merely South Carolina, and nothing more.

Hate the phrase "at the end of the day". Implies that all other times of day are irrelevant. Which is false.

Hate the term "possession receiver". Aren't they all? A non possession receiver would be one who couldn't possess the ball. Such a receiver would be largely worthless. Every wideout may not be a Randy Moss. But they are in the league for a reason.

Hate anytime Charles Barkley opens his mouth.

It was a forward pass, or it was illegal forward pass.

Said by bills fans, and other non titans fans that refuse to see the undeniable reality it's a lateral for the music city miracle.
Either because they aren't aware of it's where the ball is to where the ball goes rule, or they choose to be delusional not accepting it's a lateral as I imagine bills fans don't want to accept that they got beat in one of the worst ways possible on a trick play.

I hate the Hot Minute one too. Mostly because the people they use it seem to make up reasons to say it.

Same thing applies there. Peoe try too hard to slide it into conversation. Put 'Hot Garbage' on that list too.

"Cray" or "cray cray" for crazy.

"Score the basketball."

What else would you score with in a basketball game.

Exactly! I also hate when people refer to South Carolina as just "Carolina". Carolina only refers to UNC!
