Phrases/Cliches that annoy you.

What have you got against roof gyms?

Are you freakin kidding me.

Roofs are the outside so not a controlled enviorment which is awful because the cold and snow, rain, humidity and hot weather, and sun would make it challenging to workout.

But even if a roof has a inside area I really don't to use more movement to get to a gym which a roof wiuld involve.

I don't understand why anyone would be against working out outside. This whole argument is ridiculous.

No it isn't ridiculous since I'm talking about a gym on a roof is nonsensical since it's a outside location the machines and equipment are most likely to be damaged or altered.

I never said I'm against working out outside for all settings.

It's not like nobody ever does it:

I can think of many reasons it would be useful, like if you're the Batman and you want to have your evening workout where you can keep an eye out for the Bat Signal.

Or similarly if you're Bruce Banner of Hulk fame and you want to work out somewhere where if you trip on the treadmill and get all pissed about it you won't trash your place and people won't see you.

And if you lived in the country you might think of building a treehouse for a treadmill so you can get cardio in while being one with the squirrels or various tree larvae.

I never said nobody ever does it. Persons do it but I highly doubt that more persons run on a treadmill outside than inside simply because the indoors location has the best advantages.

Also I do recall Bruce Wayne seeing the bat signal in Batman Returns while inside the house so he could be inside the house to workout.

Again doesn't change the logical sensible reasons of why it's a huge disadvantage.
A person running on a treadmill inside a gym or house won't have to worry or have problems from the weather because a indoors location.

It will be damn challenging to run a treadmill outside with heavy raining, and more likely to slip.
Also if this during the morning or afternoon a person would need to put on sunscreen to avoid being sunburnt.

You have to dry off a machine that was rained on.

Also birds could crap on the treadmills which the birds can't do for indoors locations unless they are let inside which is slim.

Your point about sunscreen is very sensible.

I agree about the bird crap too. I once tried to have
a picnic lunch in an aviary. My sandwich was nearly inedible.

I still like the treehouse treadmill idea though. Treehouses have roofs.

Signs in people's yard that have "elect" or "vote for" in front of someone's name. It automatically tells me the person named in the sign is corrupt.

Persons can't get hit with hail inside, they aren't at risk of getting electrocuted by lightning, the machines can't get wet when it rains or snows which makes slipping unlikely, won't be sweating before running if the weather is hot outside because they are in the cool indoors gym, no risk of frostbite, don't have to put on sunscreen because indoors , can't get stung by wasps or bothered by flies, bees, mosquitoes, etc.

Add all thosw up it's unsurprising that most gyms in the World are indoors for treadmills and other machines because the indoors location has the best advantages.

If you want more energy used to get to a treadmill.

Actually. If you're close to a window you could get electrocuted by lightening inside. If there's a leak in the ceiling when it rains you could slip. If the air conditioning isn't working you would be sweating before running. If the heat isn't working in the winter you could get frostbite. If you leave a door open flies, bees, and mosquitoes could come inside.

Still safe from wasp stings though? Is that what you’re saying?
