Phrases/Cliches that annoy you.

It's not correct if you say could when you mean to say couldn't.

How can a man who supposedly does not care about a matter speak with such decisive finality on how he feels about it? He has to have some measure of concern to be so absolute.

It seems to me that one who could care less or maybe more provides the vagueness required to convey apathy.

My thinking after reading this thread is that if I met some of you in person I just wouldn't say anything. Your days must be rough with everything making you angry.

With that said and working in the golf industry my addition is Revolutionary. The word has been used way too much and means nothing anymore.

-When people say literally
"It was literally awesome." Good, I thought it was figuratively awesome.
-Your/You're, There/Their/They're
I just don't understand how so many people struggle with contractions.

this one is getting on my nerves at work from clients. "Wow, its almost like you know what you are talking about Louder." never have i wanted to choke someone through the phone more than when i get that.

"Epic" is right up there with "revolutionary".

I also hate "right up there". Up where? amirite

And "amirite". That's not even a word.

People using "of" instead of "have" as in, "I wish I could of seen Cordarelle Patterson in the Big Orange one more year."
