Wasn't he a pg in high school? Also about the RTL, somebody told me that a kid from my hometown, Brock Rowan, was playing. Anybody see him/know how he is doing? He is going to be a freshman at shorter next year.

JP was my favorite. 6th man of the year. Memphis couldn't contain him. He was a big part of the reason we were #1 for two days. He would've been even better if he could've stayed healthy and gone through an offseason workout.

Yes that's where he is going and he can shoot it. I would like to see how he does against longer and good competition.


Did anyone see Cory billingsley play (lee university). I saw he was on a roster but didn't go to any games.

JP was one of my favorite also. The offense ran so smooth when he was on the court. He was the best at setting up and feeding the post. Handled the ball exceptionally well for a big guy. Got more steals and fast breaks than anyone that I can remember. Signature salute will always be embedded in my brain. Oh, and his block on MSU in the elite 8 was clean. Blind refs can't make that call on the last shot.

I always liked JP. Always provided a spark. Yeah, he did some stupid stuff but it never bothered me that much. Our fans to this day talk about him and you can tell they still don't appreciate him.

Don't forget Prince getting fouled with UT up by 1 at Memphis late in the 1vs2 game and hitting both FTs to allow Pearl to deploy the foul strategy that succeeded in clinching the win.
