I'm surprised Lovie got the boot

Absolutely ridiculous IMO. The Bears won 10 games this year and were the 4th winningest team in the NFC during Lovie's tenure in Chicago. Talk about some unreasonable expectations. That's pretty damn good in a league with so much parity. It's not Lovie's fault that half the team got hurt this year and that the AFC was so awful that 10 wins left the Bears on the outside looking in for the final playoff spot.

It has to do with the OC situation. He can't seem to find someone that fits. Having said that, I'm disappointed in the decision as a Bears fan.

Plus, he's been hamstrung by an inept front office for most of his time there. Crappy QBs, crappy oline, crappy WRs...All things considered he's done good in CHI, but that's the nature of the biz. I'd like to see him land at least a decent job.
