Pink slip Monday in the NFL

Blame the damn GM before his inability to find a competent O-Line and a WR before 2012 to help Cutler.

Ridiculous. Just change to make a change.

You all do know the Bears owners are among the tightest tightwads in the NFL dont you ?

I thought Lovie was on "Gilligans Island" with the skipper and all the rest of the bunch of castaways.

How do guys like Romeo Crennel, Chan Gailey, and Norv Turner get head coaching gigs when they've sucked as head coaches before?

sometimes it's an issue with the owners. But those three are career coordinators.

Owners/GMs are afraid to try someone new. They'd rather get a re-tread than hire someone who is unproven. I've never understood that philosophy.

They may have a lot of problems but Cutler isn't one of them. If he had a good line he would be one of the tops in the league. He has a bad rep because he doesn't play the media game.

and the fact that his O-line keeps him on the ground. Jason Campbell's performance for the Bears should've shut any one up that still doubted Cutler's toughness.

Aldon Smith messed up Campbell. Cutler is far from bring a wuss. He is a douche, but not a wuss.

Regardless of whether or not he returns from suspension, Gregg Williams is apparently no longer on the Rams coaching staff.

First one hired, Reid to Kansas City

#1 pick in the draft also - who will it be - the KC QBs have sucked since as far back as I can remember but not any big names in the draft this season except for Bray

Geno Smith seems to be felt as likely being the first QB taken (at the moment) pre-combine...followed by some order of Glennon, Wilson, Barkley...

This is all subject to change for all of them of course based on combine and pro day performance, however unless Tyler comes out and just wows everyone with his performance (as well as interviews, maturity, etc) then he's felt to likely be a day 2 pick (2nd or 3rd round) at the current moment.

Or were you just saying "this is a pretty week QB draft class overall this year?"

Heard Mel Kiper yesterday who said that he thought Glennon would be the first QB taken, possibly Top 15.

I guess Fat Andy wont find a QB in the draft -- Cassell and Quinn will only get him fired again

Buffalo has basically sucked for 15+ years. I don't know why I'm surprised that they hired a guy who I'd never heard of, and after a little research I discover that until a week ago, he was a sub-.500 college coach.

Dumb. Doug Marrone excelled as OC of the Saints and is considered an offensive line guru. Line coaches often make great coaches and the fact that he turned the Syracuse program around (they had only won ten games in a 4 year span before his hiring) shows that he knows how to coach. The fact that you've never heard of him just proves you don't really pay attention.

The Browns and Eagles had also shown interest in Marrone. As had a number of bigger name college teams this year, but it was known he wanted back in the NFL.
