Clawson’s Wake Forest this year...in a season where almost the entirety of ACC is down or terrible and you’re maybe only one of two teams with an experienced roster and decent seniors...the program’s ceiling is still about 8 wins.

Wake Forest starts the year 7-1 and ranked in a year where they seemed to be taking advantage of the state of their conference...and ends the season 8-5 after (helped in part by a variety of season-ending including 3 key starting WRs, LBs, defenders, and also stretches without their starting QB) a blowout, difficulty against a dominant defense, and a bizarre OT game where the ball was stripped in stride inside the 10 and returned for a TD right before what would have been the game-winning score.

Michigan State finds some light at the end of the tunnel in a season where they started ranked, fell early to AZ State, lost to the Big 10 gauntlet plus Illinois to end up 4-6, and won their last 3 to finish the year 7-6.
