The 2nd was terrible. The 3rd one's only redeeming quality was the final battle. That was very well done. Other than that, they we're both pretty bad.

all of this.

I will never watch this series again do to this film. I almost asked for my money as I left theater. The first one was a good flick.

I am creating a list of people who liked the 2nd one in this thread. I know what they say about any film is without merit. I can only imagine they watch films while on drugs.

But I bet you not only loved The Phantom Menace but own it on DVD.

Watched it yesterday. Sat all the way through it, and still missed the part where it was explained how Blackbeard got his mystical powers, unless they were due to the ship, but it still wasn't explained.

I'll rate this one as the second best of the series, but mostly because I can't recall anything about the second and third. Too slow of a pace, lack of amazing action sequences, and hardly any comedic effect worth remembering leaves this film lagging far behind the first.

apparantly i have bad taste in movies. i thought the second one was pretty good. definitely not the best out of the series since nothing has topped the first for me, but definitely not the worst either. the third one was all kinds of terrible.

I love you and do not believe you do drugs; however, you have no taste in movies. I do not know how this happened to you. I would blame my parents.

just out of curiosity, when did you become the arbiter of what constitutes good taste in movies?

I don't know where Blackbeard's powers came from....but they where encased in his sword and ring. That is why Barbosa claimed them along with the ship as his prize.

Pretty sure it was the sword.
