Pitt head coach Narduzzi has a rules suggestion that would be absolutely disastrous for UTs up-temp offense.

Won’t ever happen. Look at the ratings for the big games TN has been in. The fast, high scoring offenses bring in money. Plus how is he going to explain the two minute drill with a team trying to come back in the final game of drives?

He doesn't understand the existing rules very well so maybe he shouldn't be the one suggesting new rules...he's a bit of an idiot

I do agree with him about having a headset in the quarterbacks helmet, along with one defensive player having one. The suggestion of holding the ball to 25 seconds is ludicrous.

It surprises me that the NCAA hasn't already allowed QBs to have headsets in their helmets. Not having them does bring an X Factor to college football, due to crowd noise. How many penalties have our fan base caused & how many sound records have we broken?

Tldr: Wants to implement headsets for QBs and hold the ball till 25 on the play clock.

Instead of teaching and figuring out how to play vs this type offense, ahem Georgia cough cough, they want to make rules so they don't have to. Pitiful IMO. Everyone wants the easy button nowadays.

UT was the most exciting team to watch all year. The numbers speak for themselves, tv ratings and stats.
He is all for that until he is down 2 points with 60 seconds left in the game and his offense has to wait for the play clock to go from 40 to 25 seconds before they snap it in their 2 minute drill.

Absolutely ludicrous. May be time for him to coach some peewee flag football.

I hate this new mindset of if you can’t figure out how to defend it, make it against the rules.

Geez—-if you want player safety, start looking at all those low knee/ankle blocks that those option teams throw.

It’s stupid. Get athletes in better shape. Playing or living even at 340lbs is a safety issue.
