Pittsburgh Steelers Thread

3rd string QB and no running game. What can you expect? Taking it to OT was impressive enough, I suppose.

Good game by Dixon. With his display and the popularity of the wildcat, I'd expect the Steelers to have some nice offers for him at season's end. Maybe a deal including a RB?

I thought he was 2nd string QB?

But yeah, that could be interesting, however to do so they'd have to make him 2nd string QB. The game rules as far as rosters don't let you play a 3rd string QB without deactivating the 1st or 2nd QB for the game, so they couldn't just switch him in and out if he is in fact 3rd string

EDIT: oh misread your post. I thought you meant the steelers using him in wildcat. No noone's going to trade anyone big or major for a Dixon. The only thing you might get in a trade for a 2nd/3rd string QB is some depth (and if you're really lucky, a real, real deep sleeper at a position) or more likely some late 3rd day draft picks.

But I expect the steelers to keep him at this point

On a clutch last-second touchdown, no less.

Steelers snatching defeat from the jaws of victory against the Al Davis's. Sup with that?

The Steelers would be a tough first round opponent for anybody. They done laid out Pat White and Chad Henne
