I don't know when Memphis gained exclusive rights to the bbq market, but good bbq can be produced anywhere. Some of the best I've had is in Jacksonville Beach at Mojo bbq. I just think that Jim n Nicks is good, and he could hit a golf ball from his hotel to the restaurant. All I'm saying. Besides, I was recommending the pizza place, Pyros.

Soul food is memorable. Just the southern cuisine in itself is memorable.

Good BBQ can be found anywhere but it's also hit or miss. There's more exceptional BBQ places and selection in Memphis per capita than anywhere. I can name 10 or more places that are outstanding.

Don't know if you've left yet, but they have two different types of mozzarella, as well as other cheeses. I like getting them to top the pizza with fresh mozzarella cubes. There are lots of choices, though.

Went to the Bayou, Mulan, Beauty Shop, and Bar DKDC yesterday. All good food. Guess I was hungry, and thirsty. At Slider now getting 24 hot wings.

For breakfast.. Bryant's Bar-B-Que and Breakfast. Go hungry, it is a meal, great country ham, gravy and biscuits.


Gus's Fried Chicken is a must if you like fried chicken.

Central BBQ is good.

Casa Mexicana is my fav one, corner of gtown and 64, beside liquor store and bask in Robbins, their coronaritas are great

Central BBQ was also incredible
