After watching that game tonight I feel we are a long ways off from having to worry about a NC game and our fans having to worry about the costs. I mean Texas was a Gitmo away from tying the score and maybe going into OT while we couldn’t have stopped OSU if we played 12v10

A good chance we would have been able to keep the score a little more respectable had it been a neutral site game.

For some reason the team decided as usual on the road to not show up! Either way UT was supposed to have a shutdown defense and yet OSU could have scored at will against us, while fake UT was supposed to be about the same as our defense but was so much better than ours was! Again they allowed 17 pts. In the end Heup needs to figure out why he sucks on the road and why our defense doesn’t seem to travel all that well either.

They were a completely different team than the one that lost to Michigan a few weeks before . They beat Oregon worse than they beat us. I know the final was 41-21, but it was 34-0 Ohio State. Texas had a lot more tape to prepare for this version of Ohio State and made sure that they kept everything in front of them. We basically tried to play man against Smith and that group got torched. Same w/ Oregon.

Guys, shooting for my first game at Neyland in the Fall. Plan right now is to drive in on game day from the Roanoke/Salem area and drive as far as I can after the game. How far heading northeast would you say I would need to drive to avoid hotel price gouging on game days? 50 miles? 100miles? As long as it is quiet and clean, I don’t need something fancy/schmancy. Red Roof Inn, Knights Inn, Motel 6 is fine.
