What would be the feeling to potentially go to the playoff and be one and done or go to the sugar and win?

I don’t think Oregon will get in with their loss to Georgia being greater than ours. I believe we will be ranked number 4 at the end of the season when we went out
I think Utah will give Oregon fits and don't overlook the Oregon State game at Oregon State. They would love to wreck Oregon's train. Also I have faith that Bo Nix will do another Bo Nix at some point.

I voted as this is fun. But we need to take care of business the next 3 weeks. First up, getting back on track against Missouri.

We were due for a bad overall performance. Put it to rest and learn from the film. Our O line was straight up dominated like they haven’t been all year. They’ve been protecting HH really well and generating a serviceable run game. UGA just has the best defense in the country. Strength on Strength. If we played 10 times I’d say UT wins at least 4-5 of the games.

We essentially have two home games against Mizzou and Vandy (in Nashville) and SC in Columbia. I like our chances of winning out but we need to put up style points if we want to be in the playoff discussion.

UGA will be one. I think they will rank Tennessee 3 in hopes of not having a UGA vs UT matchup.

Seems like most polls are putting TN at 5th with an impending season-ending MI at Ohio St dropping one of them out of the big four. That likely means the national semifinal will be TCU vs Ohio State and TN vs GA.

Who follows No. 1 Georgia after three of top six lose? Our college football coaches poll prediction

Anyone think GA is looking forward to a TN rematch? I definitely don't.

Sure, we sucked in the first half. But, the 2nd half was a different story. GA's possessions were field goal, fumble, punt and punt. TN's were fumble, loss on downs, 61-yard touchdown drive and loss on downs.

GA gambled that their secondary could cover our receivers long enough for an intense rush to either sack Hendon or rush him. No long gorgeous bombs to Hyatt or Tillman. It worked - sort of. Several times they were open but Hendon either overthrew them or was running for his life.

But, in a rematch, I believe TN's coaches will dissect this film and have the Vols more than ready. We have the best, smartest coaches in the conference. Period. They'll see:

- The flat was open all day. Wright and Small flaring out for quick, wide open passes in empty space will be there ALL DAY. GA will then be forced to pull somebody out of the pass rush to cover or go to zone to cover our receivers. Either option cooks GA.

- If Hendon drops back a little further, he'll have more time and a different angle from which to throw.

That's just some of what I saw, and our coaches are 1,000 times smarter than I am.

And, look at the halftime defensive adjustments. In the 2nd half, Georgia:

- had 67 yrds and a field goal
- 3 yrds and a fumble
- 6 yrds and a punt
- 2 yrds and a punt
- 12 yrds and time ran out

They were SHUT DOWN.

On the day, Bennett hit 70% of his passes for 257 yards. Hooker hit 70% of his passes for 195 yards. TN ran for 94 yards (2.2 avg), and GA ran for 130 yards (3.5 avg).

The game looked like a blowout because of the 1st half and TN's inability to explode on offense. But, this was not a blowout. In the 2nd half, if a couple of passes were hit, we would have been 20-27 AND the defense had figured GA out. Imagine how many Dawg sphincters would have been tightened then.

So ... Win out convincingly and the Vols are in. And, GA's in for a very long, sad afternoon.

If they get past Missouri i would say 70% chance they go 11-1

Kirby just gave them the blueprint to beat us and they scored 22 on GA.

Missouri was up 16-6 on GA at half time.

GA was losing to Missouri the entire game until about 4:30 in the 4th quarter.

Dude get real. There is no blueprint to stop us. That was a home game for Missouri. UGA over looked them and played their worst game kind of like we just did. This game is in Neyland. Missouri doesn’t have the defensive players, scheme or coach UGA does.

We will easily smoke Missouri.

Mizzou just extended their DC. They obviously did that before our game so they can get their DC extended cheap as opposed to waiting after out game when the DC shuts us down and extension would cost Mizzou more.
