As far as Resumes for the final CFP rankings with 3 games left in the season:
Tenn - 6 games against ranked teams. Record 5-1. 3 of the 6 still ranked. Remaining games Mizz, SoCar, Vandy.
Will add this for Ut's schedule, but not the time to do the others:
Ball State 5-4 won
Pitt 5-4 (UR) won
Akron 1-8 won
UF 5-4 (UR) (#20 at game time) won
LSU 7-2 (Top 10?) (#25 at game time) won
AL 7-2 (Top 15?) (#3 at game time) won
UT-Martin FCS 5-4. 3-0 conference. 2 of 4 losses against FBS. won
KY 6-3 (UR)(#19 at game time) won
UGA 9-0 (1?) (#3 at game time) loss
Other leading contenders resumes:
UGA Only 2 games (both wins) against a team ranked at all, now or when game was played. Games to play, MissSt, KY, GT.
Mich - Only 1 game (win) against a ranked opponent. Games to play - Neb, Ill, OSU (2 currently ranked) A ranked and pretty decent ILL team is in great position to catch Mich sleeping the week before OSU.
TCU - 4 games against ranked teams at game time. 2 still ranked. Games left Tx, Baylor, ISU (1 ranked currently) Tex and Baylor both capable of beating TCU.
OSU - 2 games against ranked teams at time. Games left IU, MD, Mich (2 ranked currently) Maybe outside shot for IU to catch OSU in a good week for an upset, but I don't see Ryan Day letting his team fall asleep.
Oregon - 3 ranked games at game time. record 2-1. Games left UW, Utah, OreSt. (2 ranked currently) Any of 3 remaining games could potentially be losses.
Clemson - 1 loss blowout to unranked ND. 3 games against ranked teams at the time. games to play UL, Mia, SoCar (none ranked) Only decent challenge could be SoCar. UL could win, but has to play up like they did last week. At this point I don't think SoCar would be too much of an upset. Clemson has real QB issues, and no real take charge RB.
USC - 1 game against a ranked team & lost. 2 teams played (1-1) currently ranked. Games to play Col, UCLA, ND. 1 ranked, but a tough unranked ND if they show up. 2 potential losses, but looked good on 11/5.
UCLA - 3 games against then ranked tems. 2-1. Games to play AZ, USC, Cal. Only USC ranked. Cal is a sleeper that is not real good, but played tough against USC for a good part of the game. They should be up and trying to knock off UCLA.
That's everyone that will be arguing they should be in Top 4, with 3 games left to help level the argument over the next few weeks. All have schedules left that could potentially lead to 1 or more losses if they get caught sleeping. Tennesse has a favorable schedule left, and after the loss to GA, they may steam roll those 3 to make a statement. We've run our gauntlet. Now it's just TCB. Yes, UGA beat UT, and that counts but taken as a whole their schedule has been crap verses ours and has no better remaining games than UT. No one else has the 1 or 2 loss resume to hold a candle to UT's resume, except LSU at 2 losses.
