miami in, pats out. sorry myrobbins

one playoff spot left to decide

Im not worried about it...I knew what kind of season the Pats were going to have when Brady went down in the first game. Im looking foward to next year with the Pats. Anytime Mangini loses, it's a great day...Once again, congrats to the Phins.

What is everyones picks for the wild card? I'll take Philly, Atlanta, Indy and not sure about Miami or the Ravens(good defense both teams).

miami was just awful. poor chad pennington. waited till the worst possible to time to really throw up a stinker of a game. 4 picks. pathetic.

Philly and San Diego were the most impressive to me. baltimore's def was what was expected. can flacco 'win' a game for them later in the playoffs? history of rookie qb's says he can't. but the defense is c'ship caliber. i really want this team out.

Arizona? is the running game for real? is the run defense for real? they didn't show that during the regular season at all. they have to come East and stop two of the best RB's and one of hte best O lines in the NFL.

I know a wild card team has won the SB the past 3 years. and as good as some of these matchups are, i think this year, home feild and the bye means something. I can see all 4 home teams winning. the two i'm the shakiest on though are TN over Baltimore and NYG over PHilly. playing a division team in the playoffs is no fun. and Philly's as hot as anyone right now.

philly and Baltimore both win, the two west coast teams coming east lose.

i expect all 4 to be fairly close.

eh......i'm sure there have been other 12-4 or 13-3 teams that people just didn't believe.

TN can definitely win this game. Fisher has proven quite adept at taking this "no respect" card and parlaying it in to over the top motiviation. the only way TN loses if they beat themselves like Miami did.

can't let the ravens D score points. take care of the ball and the titans can/will win that game. both defenses will dictate this game.

the one match up though that you have to wonder when it will catch up to them is Flacco against the TItans D. can he be the qb that wins a playoff game on the road against a D like that?

i say no, but the Ravens D will have them in that game late, so you never know.

yep, and to be honest, i'll be rooting for the ravens. i really don't want to play them a 3rd time.

but i hope both teams beat the crap out of each other, and of course, that hte Steelers win, and one of them comes limping in to the title game.

i'm torn on that whole issue. on the one hand, yeah, having the bye is great....you get two weeks to prep, rest, get healthy. on the other hand, the wild card winners build momentum, don't miss a beat and as has been proven the past three years, keep it rolling.

which is why for once, this game the titans/ravesn, actaully could benefit their opponent in the c'ship game. these two teams really should get after each other.

Baltimore should be at a disadvantage, they did get a little banged up and they are running in to a very fresh Tennessee defense.

should be interesting.

who said the Steelers were going to the AFC championship?

i like the Chargers right now more than the Ravens to advance this weekend. doesn't mean they will, but they're playing good ball right now.

the Ravens won't get 4 turnovers from Kerry Collins.

no one, but of the four teams left, i don't see any of them with a clear cut advantage. i guess the one i'd be most surprised about getting to Tampa would be San Diego, simply because of how much help they had to have in order for the Denver game to even mean anything. Baltimore, Pittsburgh and Tennessee have been in the mix all season long.

agreed the titans will protect the ball better than the Dolphins.

I think the Titans/Ravens comes down to the last possession.

The Steelers game is harder to call because I think it depends on the weather in a very large part. If it's cold/wet I think the Steelers win by 10-14.

The steelers should beat the chargers but who knows. I wouldnt have picked the chargers to even be playing this game.
The Titans should win also but in order to win they will have to protect the football. The turnovers battle will be HUGE.
I think home field advantage will be a factor in both games.
