I'm far from a Biden supporter. My point is that if you drop Netflix, then who else are you going to drop? Because I'm sure the other entertainment companies will support her, along with countless other companies you may need for everyday items.

^^^^^^Hereinlies the crux of the matter.^^^^^^

Didn't Netflix give the Obama's a multimillion deal for a series of terrible shows. That should've told people they were leftists. It shouldn't have taken this.

I thought Republicans/Conservatives/Trump supporters were opposed to cancel culture?

If you want to cancel a streaming service, because their co-founder donated some of his own personal finances to a political campaign you don't like? That's fine, but why are you telling other people what to do? This is a textbook example of cancel culture.

Even if I don't plan to boycott Netflix, I still applaud people that do. Cool to see people stand up for values over entertainment. We need more of it in our nation. I am curious to know if Netflix has given any money to Trump's campaign or not.
After the Olympic opening ceremony, my wife deleted all the NBC affiliated channels off of our TV.

She wasn't angry about it. She was deeply saddened.

I don't disagree. Besides these 'boycotts' rarely work anyway, just ask Goya, Chick Fil A, Hobby Lobby, etc... I just won't spend any money there (NFLX), and that's all that matters. If others choose to do so, that's their business.

I will say that I bought back in to TSCO after they dismantled their DEI department. Like the company a lot, but I wouldn't support hiring based on touchy feely ******** over hiring the best for the job.

My friend went to work at a company that was so committed to being woke they took their Good Friday holiday and moved it to juneteenth. Why can’t they be committed enough to just add the holiday? It’s like Luther saying he would gladly pay more in taxes but only if everyone else is forced to. Why can’t he just pay more on his own?

Nonprofit head Quinn Delaney and Netflix co-founder Reed Hastings, major Democratic donors who announced their support for Harris shortly after President Joe Biden ended his reelection effort, joined Soros in working to elect Gascon and Boudin.

Delaney, alongside three other California-based donors, poured millions into electing the two prosecutors in 2020, Politico reported. Hastings and his wife Patty Quillin donated $1.75 million to support Gascon, according to Deadline.

Hastings donated $7 million to a pro-Harris PAC, the largest donation he has ever given a candidate, Business Insider reported. Delaney, meanwhile, pumped $1 million into a pro-Harris super PAC that she ran in 2020 and has been identified as a “key backer” of Harris post-dropout by the New York Times.

Delaney and Hastings have also thrown their wealth behind opposing ballot measures in California that would have empowered law enforcement.

Hastings and his wife in 2020 spent $2 million opposing California Proposition 20, which would have increased penalties for property crimes, as well as $1 million in support of a ballot measure that would have abolished cash bail, according to Forbes. Delaney, on the other hand, in 2024, donated to a committee opposing a California ballot measure that would have increased penalties for retail theft, Politico reported.

Delaney heads the Akonadi Foundation, an Oakland-based nonprofit that focuses on “ending the criminalization of people of color,” according to its website. Akonadi runs a program called “All In For Oakland” which works to remove police officers from schools and close juvenile prisons and donates funds to Black Lives Matter-affiliated organizations.

Hardly....I vote with my $$$. Why can't these idiot corporations stay OUT of politics? Provide your service or product and shut your yap. Sorry to break it to you Jethro, but Harris is Joetato but with an annoying cackle.

You do know this isnt Netflix funding it but someone with their own personal $$$ doing it...

Any company that open supports the FAILED VP will not get a penny from me. Now if Joetato & Kommie had closed the border, lowered food & gas prices, stayed out of Ukraine, deported 10-12 million welfare-sucking illegal leeches, I may be singing a different tune. BUT THEY ARE A DISMAL FAILURE.

I actually have a life....wife, children, grandchildren, semi-retired, no debt.....however I do love Seinfeld but I've seen each episode about 10x. Netflix & Hollyweird can kiss my red, white, and blue backside. TRUMP 2024
A person can spend their entertainment dollar and leisure time in any way they see prudent. You don't owe anyone else an explanation for your choices either. To each their own.

However, for what it's worth (nothing), I do find this mentality to be weird in and of itself. As most here know, I am a liberal Democrat. I am also a Clint Eastwood aficionado. He is my favorite actor. I love his movies. I even liked those dumb Phillo Beddoe movies with the orangutan.

It would never occur to me to allow this ^^^^ to keep me from watching his movies, or to change my opinion of him as an actor. That is tribalism to an extreme, and it is petty silliness.

Ohhh I'm so sorry Snowflake. May I FedEx you a box of Kleenex and a Kamala poster?

Aren't you the sensitive nancy who started this thread? You canceled Netflix, ran and told the internet about it, and when your virtue signaling doesn't work out you call me the snowflake? What did I do? I made fun of you, is all.

Imagine your love and devotion for someone who isn't even aware of your existence reaching this deeply into your tiny brain.

Complains about companies being involved in politics when it was just an individual. Not just a snowflake. A poorly informed one.

Ten bucks says this curdlebrain is currently figuring out that most streaming services are ran by big money liberals and realizing that he'll have to resort to books *without* pictures in them.
