Please don’t overlook Vandy

DO NOT let Vandy find a way to beat us.

This weekend couldn’t have worked out much better for us. From what I can tell we for sure won’t be in the SEC championship game as well which honestly I’m ok with. We are still in the running for a potential playoff game in Neyland now too. Unreal

Let’s take care of business and shut all those nega-vol media clowns up.

GBO!

Correct, Tennessee will not be in the SEC Championship game. It will be the winner of the Texas vs. Texas A&M game vs. Georgia. The NCAA already declared on X that Georgia has clinched. And the Dawg fans are not happy about it. There is nothing good that comes from playing in the game for Georgia. Their players can get hurt and more importantly, if they lose they most likely get knocked out of the playoff. The SEC has a major problem on their hands now with the Conference Championship colliding head on with the playoffs. It'll be interesting to see what evolves from this problem.

Vandy is slightly below Tennessee in average scoring against SEC teams. If UT comes out with what has become a troublesome flat first half, they might be in trouble. Vandy will be fired up to play the little brat adopted red headed step child spoiler role.

Sure hope our DL can play disciplined for 60 minutes and stop jumping off sides, stay in their zones, and help keep Pavia contained in the pocket. IMO twill be the key to winning in Nashville. SURELY….our fan base has learned by now NO games are won on paper or by ESPNs power predictor index (or whatever they call it).

Been watching this year’s Vanderbilt team more than I usually do and have been impressed. This ain’t your Daddy’s “ Candy”.
Our Big Orange VOLS can and will LOSE this game if they go into it with a “ We Got This…” attitude.
GBO.

This Vandy team KNOWS they can beat us, and has every motivation INCLUDING that they can ruin our season by knocking us out of the playoffs.

They will be as tough to beat Saturday as Georgia was and Arkansas was.

Vandy fans are right now studying video on how to create a home field advantage. We will get their best and their team's best efforts Saturday. The past is past. I'd say this game will be our toughest. With this Vandy staff, we now have a real rivalry.

It should be a tough game since Vandy would love to knock us out of the playoff. However UT has the biggest motivation possible to be ready and play well. If we can’t beat Vandy with that motivation, we don’t need to be in the playoffs. This in effect is our first round playoff game. Win and move on. Lose and go home. I think we’ll be ready to go.

The “Vols by fiddiots” will expect an easy blowout. Vandy is good enough to beat TN anywhere. They will be highly motivated to ruin our season.

We have received a gift or 2 tonight. Do not think this is the normal Vandy team.
They should be a normal Vandy team in one important way. They don’t have depth and everyone is feeling attrition and fatigue at this time of year. Surely that means playing them the last game of the season is better than playing them early or mid-season. I think we handle them somewhat easily. 2-3 scores.
