Please don’t overlook Vandy

Do you really think Tennessee is going to overlook Vandy? Not only is Tennessee playing for a playoff spot, but they’re also well aware that Vandy beat Bama and took Texas to the wire. There’s no chance Tennessee overlooks Vandy. If they lose, it’ll simply be because they didn’t play well.
'22 SCjr game. Playoffs on the line. Did we overlook them, not play well, or both?

We had no defense that year. Got exposed
No question. Weak roster on that side of the ball in 22.
But we do have a much better defense this year and they didn't show up in Athens. I get it that we have no control over what happens in the building this week, but Heup's record in big road games is not good. Gives me concern until he proves otherwise.

Well stated my friend, well stated indeed.

We will not be able to say crowd noise bothered us if we don’t play well. I’d say 70% of fans in attendance will be Vol fans. I’m more concerned with our lack of discipline on the road with penalties. Gotta play clean and keep our composure, and for the love god hopefully our DL does not line up in the neutral zone. If Vandy drags us into a street fight in the fourth quarter, not sure how we respond. Hopefully we start fast and don’t let Vandy gain any confidence. That offense Vandy runs puts so much pressure on assignment football. Go Vols! Get it done and clinch that playoff berth.

Actually I’m concerned with vandy. I’m sure this staff will approach them accordingly but let’s be honest, it’s about execution.

If Nico keeps missing wide open deep balls and throwing behind open receivers over the middle, this honeymoon won’t last long unfortunately. He’s so scared of throwing interceptions, that he’s performing poorly early in the game. With an accurate quarterback, we have the ability to win the whole damn thing!

I get it but he’s who we have. A redshirt freshman. Accept mistakes but to say we are overlooking a sec winning team is a stretch

After Arkansas, I told my wife that we just had to drop a turd one game a year these days. That remains the turd so far, but we have a huge opportunity for Randy Marsh deuce coming up.
Also, I remember years recently where we were crossing our fingers to become bowl eligible with the final game (VU or UK). The last game being a do or die for the Championship possibility is ..weird.

Cafego and Neyland would never overlook Vanderbilt.

Neyland was hired to beat McGugin and Vanderbilt.

Look yall, as a fan base we need to support this team and push them to believe we can beat vandy. Don’t put doubt in their heads. Hell in the 90s with manning we struggled and won.

I would I say both happened. South Carolina was coming off a terrible performance in a loss at Florida. Two weeks previous to that, they were beaten at home by Missouri. The same Mizzou team that Tennessee had beaten 66-24 the week prior to the SCAR game. It was a quintessential trap game.

No fears Vandy will sneek up on us. Every Vol is well aware of this games importance
Our team will refuse to replay Arkansas, I see the game as 38 10 Tennessee
