I get that he needs experience but this is NOT the kind of experience he needs. The OL has major issues and is flat out dangerous. The last thing we need is an inexperienced and talented QB to get a major injury for nothing.

Milton is not our future and he probably has no future in the NFL based on his accuracy and decision making but he is HUGE and can take punishment.

Until the OL is fixes we need to start Milton. If he gets hurt and we have to go to plan b so be it but dont risk hurting Nico or giving him a bad experience as a starting QB. This year isnt worth it.

So we should just mail it in and say forget about?

Agreed. Ride it out with Milton and in the meantime start preparing Nico more intensely to take over. It just seems like Joe isn’t mentally equipped to run the offense. Although whoever is calling the plays (Halzie I guess) isn’t doing him any favors.

Milton is mediocre at best but he’s not the biggest problem right now. Oline is terrible, defense is soft, secondary is laughably bad probably the worst in the conference. Nico isn’t a magic wand that makes everything better. Give him some time and protect your future; this year is likely going to suck.

I think you will see Joe until after Bama... The scary thing is we loose a lot of offensive line "talent" this year. Next year we will be young and unexperienced. The portal may help but we will need to get a couple, and we see how that is playing out now.

Just play your best players whether they’re a freshman or not. It’s pretty dang simple.
Milton is not the biggest issue. If we screw around and Nico has surgery and cant be back in time to start next season thst would be a disaster. Fix the OL before you put our future out there. Hes no good to us hurt or traumatized. We saw thst crap happen with so many QBs over the last 15 years.

I dissagree. At this point operating a 2 QB system is not a bad idea. Usually in a situation like that you'll find the one that needs to be out there. You may learn Nico will be just fine. You could also send a message to Milton, if you want this job you're going to have to perform. Obviously saying "this is Joe's team" is not working. There's been allot of college teams through the decades that have had to start a freshman QB, I don't think tje thought of he might get hurt came into thought if they were needed.

I don't know the answer, although it's pretty evident it's not Milton.
Coach has got recruiting to think about. You start losing games, I'm afraid we'll see several recruits back out. They are like most people, they want to play with winners. He better turn this ship rather quickly.

So maybe we shouldn’t be playing Wright,Small,McCoy Keyton,or Milton. They may get hurt
