Please fire Cuonzo now

I don't need to, I know he made the tourney every year and Martin hasn't made it. I know this team is better than being on the bubble, I know Zo is a terrible in game coach, I know he drew up a horrible last play today, I know he isn't the man for the job, and I know we need to move on. I don't think it will be Bruce, but I sure as hell know it isn't Martin.

The last play was incorrectly run. If you watch McRae, he clearly calls for the ball to the backcourt hand and Maymon threw the ball to the nearside hand. Had he lofted it over the defender, the defender is out of the play and we're 5-on-4.

Pearl is the best and obvious choice. The NCAA is a bunch of *****cats compared to 3 years ago. Pearl committed secondary violations so it's not like he was blatantly cheating and the NCAA was following him around. He can come in and create excitement and buzz around our program like no other coach we could hire. Hart just needs to make it happen.

Best? So Pearl with his one elite 8 is better than Howland and his 3 final fours?

That was a basic hs inbounds play, everyone knew where it was going it took forever to develop, there was no second option. Not disputing the pass wasn't bad, but that play was pathetic.

The over-play of the defender set us up for 5-on-4. I can't hate it. If the pass is good, we get an open look from 3, somewhere around the arc.

I get what you are saying, the pass was terrible...but we have to come with something better. IMO Especially after I watch Mizzou score time and again out of a time out. When they stopped the game because of the clock, my first thought was **** we just lost.

Nothing about our season proves that we win if the game isn't stopped. We either win via blowout or we lose. That's where the real issue lies. We would have gotten off a bad shot if we got off any shot. If we had a TO, everyone would have been angry, myself included, by not using it.

Hindsight.

Not saying we would have, and I agree. But I personally would have been happier going on the fly, I feel better about Jordy winging it over Martin drawing something up.

ok, here we go again. Again, this will be Cuonzo's fault, but here's why we lost. Mizzou was top scorers 39, the rest 36. UT was 47 top scorers(notice how our top guys outscored MZ like they did FLA), the rest 23 points. Our advantage was +8 in top scorers, -13 the rest. That be a -5 when the dust clear. SO!!! What's our real problem? That'd be depth, bench depth, extra points you'd get from the bench.

Excuses, excuses, excuses. Why don't you make another one and maybe it will help?

That's not the argument in my opinion. It's the fact that Pearl has proven his abilities here while Howland isn't guaranteed to be a success here since it's a totally different brand of basketball.

He cheated, then lied, then lied and cheated more, but the latter was while hew as under investigation. Had those not happened, he probably doesn't get the show cause and doesn't get fired. It's his fault.

UT was his 2nd chance.

I laughed

I got some numbers too. We got fewer of them than they got.

All the depth in the world won't save a team from a coach who can't find his way out of a wet paper bag.

I'm sure it will but I will be $1,000 richer and a lot less frustrated. However, I have faith that Hart will bring back Bruce and I will once again be excited about UT basketball and purchase my season tix next year.

Yeah, right. He'll be on the same flight as Gruden. :lolabove:
