Please fix the new season ticket holder seats

Well they did nothing to mine or the seats in front of me…or if they did you couldn’t tell. What a horrible design and decision to use those. Luckily we stood for a lot of the game but something has got to change.

Removing my seatbacks won’t help, it’s the seats in front of us that cause the problem. No one can walk through the rows either without committing borderline sexual harassment lol
Same situation with ours. We stood most of it, but it’s an absolute £%#€show to sit at any point.

Whoever chose these things and then approved them needs to be locked in a seated position surrounded by these abominations for a week straight.

I guess we just need to keep making our voices heard and email them about our concerns. I agree I don’t think they understand at all the main issue is anyone with those seats in front of them.

We added these for the first time this year and sat in them for the first time at the Florida game. We paid for them to have back support. While the row in front of us does not have them, we aren’t going to lean back and inconvenience the fans behind us. I’d rather have no back support than sit leaning forward in these because I don’t want knees in my back behind me.

Swing and a miss by the athletic department. We won’t be buying them next year.

We have them 2 aisle seats and the season tickets holders do for those in front and behind us . No complaints and I have asked. Have seen a few of the old style around us. Most tickets on aisle have new seats which work fine for me.

What section are you in? I thought all of the old ones were removed.

I am in section D, assuming old ones put in as result of complaints about new ones. Don't remember old ones at beginning of season.

I’m 4’ 11 and weigh 387 and I didnt like them at first cause my ass wouldn’t fit in them. I had to buy 2 so the space between the seats fits perfect with the crack of my ass and easy on the ole hemorrhoids. So now the only problem I have is that my wife has to sit in my lap. As long as she doesn’t get to jumping up and down when they start singing rocky top I’ve really grown to appreciate them.

They are terrible. The people in front of me reclined and seemed to like using my knee as a backscratcher. Extremely uncomfortable.

There is just no room. Every person walking down an isle stepped on everyone’s feet and wiped out their drinks. Not anyone’s fault just no room.

Having seats up there is absurd! There's no damn room for stadium seats of any kind. They can just put a pad down on the bleachers to mark the spot they don't need damn seats it's not a baseball game for God's sake!

because its rude to the people behind you to do that the whole game and also some people have medical issues that prevent that from being an option? We paid for seats, not ground to stand on.
It’s rude to sit and ruin the famous Neyland atmosphere. It’s not about your comfort. It’s about helping the team

Seat cushion only. There’s absolutely no damn room.

I had to hunch forward because there wasn’t enough room for my shoulders and the shoulders of the guys around me, and to top it off the couple in front of me thought their seat backs were LayZBoys, so I had to lock my knees into his back before he got comfortable to avoid leg cramps in addition to the cramp between my vertebrae and shoulder blade.

I’m only slightly above average in height and don’t even have a big belly. It’s ridiculous that our stadium requires you to be a midget with grown in butt cushions to enjoy the game.

Whoever approved these chair backs - I’m his enemy. I’ll advocate for his or her removal until this is fixed.

Ok let’s talk about these new black season ticket holder seats.

More comfortable to sit in than last years gray cushioned ones, but wow, when someone has them in front of you, because they recline some now, they are digging right into your shins. Just not enough legroom to sit or for others to get in/out of a row.

What did others think and experience?

Call the vendor. I received and completed a survey so UT had the vendor contact me.

At this point I’ve learned to accept the fact the seats are too close for comfort, but I stand most of the game so.. I can lit up with it 7 games a year.

Go Vols!

Does no good, and removing mine would not help me. They said they were reducing the recline but I can’t tell much improvement.

They just seem so cheaply built popping and cracking and you can’t scoot back without the entire back leaning back into the person behind you and everyone trying to get in and out of row hitting them.

I know the rows are too narrow to begin with, but these seats were so poorly planned in my opinion. There has to be a better option

The vendor is not the problem.

No one is saying that seats are bad. They’re saying the they do not fit inside of our stadium. If we had another 6 inches of space between each row, the reclining seats would be great.

It’s not the furniture maker’s fault if the non-custom furniture doesn’t fit your space. It’s the buyer’s fault for failing to take measurements.

I like the older cushion seats better. I think these are more weather proof but I agree they take up more space. It’s only 7 games…..
