Christ was a Jew.You keep quoting Jewish law, this is the church age. Why should I possibly want to stone a woman who becomes a school teacher? The bible doesn't teach such a thing as that.
Here’s the thing…..in spite of G-d saying over and over that his law is eternal and Messiah saying nothing passes from the law till the end of time, the most Christians don’t think that part is literal.Christ was a Jew.
If you can claim the earth is only 6000 years old based on your literal interpretation of Genesis, why not apply that same logic to Leviticus? If the Bible is the literal “word of God”, why be selective?
Ever seen a photos of or been to the Red Sea? There are tidal pools the size of small lakes. There are also long sand bars that run between them. In other words, Moses didn't actually part the Red Sea. SorryYou got one thing right, I do take the bible literally.
I believe it is literally the word of God and that Jesus Christ was literally born of a virgin and that he literally lived a sinless life and literally laid down his life on the cross of Calvary and literally 3 days later arose from the grave and literally is still alive today !!
Why should I not believe it to be literal?
And the bible is a Jewish book. All scriptures are written for our benefit and are written for us but not necessarily to us. That's why we must study to show ourselves approved unto God. We must rightly divide the word of God. If you don't, you end up with cult doctrine.Christ was a Jew.

Really? What a great miracle that God drown the entire Egyptian army with just a few inches of water!Ever seen a photos of or been to the Red Sea? There are tidal pools the size of small lakes. There are also long sand bars that run between them. In other words, Moses didn't actually part the Red Sea. Sorry
There's enough food in this world to feed that poor child.
All death and sickness comes from the curse of sin. Sin brought death and suffering into the world and man has chosen to sin. Man choosing to be sinful isn't God's fault.
Perhaps if we loved our neighbors like God commands us to in the bible, we could fix such problems as that.
the wording and descriptions do not match the reed sea in any way. People have tried to make that argument based on the possibility of a mistranslation on reed vs red but the reed sea doesn’t fit with anything in the rest of the story.I thought it was the "Reed Sea," but dat's got nuffin two due wif the subject of the tread
Bro, this is so bad. You have a super myopic view of the Bible, forget about our origin.
You're taking the Bible totally literally and as if it's offering complete info in order to interpret a 6k year old earth.
Half the Bible is figurative, symbollic, etc. For example, you are interpreting 7 days of creation as literal days when for all we know the 7 days represent 7 eons. Stop letting other believers tell you how to interpret scripture.
Thank youYou have done your duty. You have shared the word. The evidence of Jesus is real. There are personal accounts. Since we can't be there then all we have to rely on is faith. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, but of the evidence of things not seen.
I once shared a conversation with a friend about atheism, doubt and not believing in God. I said if I'm wrong, then I've tried to live as God would want besides my failures as man. I have confessed Jesus to be the son of God. But if you're wrong, then the afterlife will be painful, hot, never ending and constant thirst. I will take my chances believing in the supreme being of the universe. This life on earth is but a speck in time.
Since we keep talking about this translation versus that translation. Here is scripture that is clear in any translation.
Matthew 10:33
Parallel Strong's
Holman Christian Standard Bible
But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father in heaven.
New American Standard Bible
"But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father who is in heaven.
King James Bible
But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
Parallel Verses
International Standard Version
But whoever denies me before people I, too, will deny before my Father in heaven."
American Standard Version
But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father who is in heaven.
Young's Literal Translation
and whoever shall deny me before men, I also will deny him before my Father who is in the heavens.
Welp.... Sometimes I don't even agree with meI agree with @BigO95 on a lot of things but I don't think the bible offer a way to calculate the exact age of earth or any event to come so I disagree with him there. I know Jehovah Witnesses think they are able to do this.
