No that’s Dante’s inferno.
Nope, God's word declares that there's a hell, and people that die lost will suffer the flames of hell through all eternity. Wether you believe it or not doesn't change the fact.

There is no "god," there is no "heaven" or "hell," there is no soul, the bible is essentially a children's book full of fairy tales. Two of every animal in the world did not climb onto a boat with Noah to wait out a rainstorm, etc. The world wasn't created in 7 days a few thousands years ago. Religion exists to make more palatable the reality of our mortality--the hope that there is something after death. Alas, there isn't. We are biological creatures---some dude named "god" did not create us--and we all die biologically. That's the cold, hard reality of it. Many millions of people want to believe otherwise, and that's fine--keep in mind that mankind has created hundreds if not thousands of fictional "supreme beings" of one kind or another. But it's all silliness. And is the gangster a "good christian"? Ha, ha, ha: Is that a trick question. 😭 😭 Most of the people doing hard time in prison are better humans that that lowlife. 😭 😭
Do you know everything?

I don't know why a statement about Trump ... in a thread about Trump, has to turn into a what-about-ism over Biden.

1) .... and I will agree that Biden is dishonest.

2) Can you explain how Biden has displayed the same degree of disrespect towards others that Trump has done?

3) Can you explain how Biden has shown a lack of empathy for others, in the ways Trump has?

Who said they had to have "the same levels" of flaws in order to disqualify both to anyone other than hypocrites?

Biden is a liar, a racist, a hypocrite, an egotist, and an age-driven misanthrope. For those who insist upon playing zero sum games, perhaps those flaws don't matter so long as they believe that Trump is worse.

If only we had more than two choices available out of a population of 330 million.

When it comes to being an egotistical liar, without empathy .....

Yes, Trump is worse. In fact, I would say that when it comes to being a lying narcissist, his response to losing the 2020 Presidential Election reveals Trump to be without peer in that regard.

However, you also said that Biden didn't treat other people with respect. Can you give examples of such behavior?

No you’re declaring that from your interpretation of a translation of a translation.
You don’t have facts. You have opinions

So no big bang? How did it all start?
As recently as I looked into (it’s been years) the Big Bang theory wasn’t the beginning. Just the most recent convergence of mass. Basically (if you’ve never heard this) everything explodes out then eventually shrinks back in and explodes back out again.

So the universe is timeless…..without beginning or end…..so they say.

As for me
G-d is a G-d of laws. His word is set on the law. So why would his creation not be set the same way? In science we call those laws G-d set up fro the universe “constants”.

As to the when and how He set it in motion? He hasn’t told me yet.

Why do you not use the letter “o” when spelling God?

That quote is actually in reference to someone arguing the age of the earth from the Bible.
But I don’t disagree with you. Most if not all politicians flunked your test pretty hard.

Is it me or do you try hard to be the Mitch McConnell of the board? The Mitt Romney.

“Final” is the most common use of that word whenever it’s used in ancient translation. In fact it was almost never used as “everlasting” in any ancient writing ever.
“Everlasting” is incorrect usage by biased translators pushing an agenda.

And don’t give me the Bull **** “I trust the translation” nobody who seeks truth has time for that garbage.

I'd like to see the ancient writings.

It's a Jewish custom held over from Hebrew.

Jews are forbidden to pronounce the actual name of God: the Tetragrammaton. In fact, the pronunciation was lost in antiquity, since no one but the High Priest ever pronounced it, and then only once a year. So they don't even attempt to pronounce Y-H-V-H.

The great rabbis of blessed memory created a principle of religious law, 'building a fence around the Torah'—which means, they have put rules in place to avoid even the possibility of committing an infraction of the actual Law. So Jews substitute other words to avoid 'taking the Lord's name in vain'—in prayer, they use the Hebrew equivalent of 'Lord', in conversation, they use the Hebrew equivalent of 'the Name'. Some religious Jews take this a step further and write G-d in English instead of the full word.

It's a Jewish thing.

Is that accurate Slice?

I have Torah, and the writings. You have your opinion.
Good luck with that
What are you going to do with Matthew 25:46?

And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

So it’s on the same level as the LDS magic underwear. C**L

It's true because it's God's word.

Men wrote the Bible. None of its authors even met Jesus, in fact they were all 30 to 100 years after his time. If the christian gods words were so divine, it would seem weird that so many revisions would be required. But I digress. Your logic that the bible is true because it says its true is nothing more than circular logic. It's a bad argument.

Why don't you believe in Ra, Thor, Shiva, Ganesha, Athena, Odin, Allah, Zeus, Buddha or Poseidon? For the same reason you don't 'believe' in those, I don't believe in the Christian God.

Is is so unbelievable that I happen to go one god further than you in my lack of belief in the existence of gods?

Prophecy fulfilled in exact detail let's me know that it's God's word.
The resurrection of Jesus Christ let's me know it's the right God. Put the resurrection to the test. There's you a challenge.... Just be honest with it.
Why would his disciples die such horrible deaths for a lie. They were eye witnesses to the truth. Men lie to get out of trouble, not in trouble.

You didn't address a single word that I wrote.

The stories and parables in the bible are ripped off from numerous cultures, myths and even other religions. You've bought into tales BigO and it's very likely not even your fault. You were likely indoctrinated into it the same way children in the middle East are indoctrinated into Islam. Frankly, that you're a christian is just happenstance, it's likely that you simply happened to be born where it is the predominant religion.

I don't even know what you're trying to convey, "put resurrection to the test"? WTF does that even mean? Is it like a Pepsi challenge?
