You didn't address a single word that I wrote.

The stories and parables in the bible are ripped off from numerous cultures, myths and even other religions. You've bought into tales BigO and it's very likely not even your fault. You were likely indoctrinated into it the same way children in the middle East are indoctrinated into Islam. Frankly, that you're a christian is just happenstance, it's likely that you simply happened to be born where it is the predominant religion.

I don't even know what you're trying to convey, "put resurrection to the test"? WTF does that even mean? Is it like a Pepsi challenge?
Try to make an earnest effort to disprove it.

I grew up in a drunkards home that used to cuss God and I didn't know one thing about what church was even about. I was 25 when I met the Lord Jesus Christ and he saved my soul. He completely changed my life in an instant. You trying to say there's no God is about as silly as saying an ant could eat a round bale of hay.
You just haven't met him yet. Just because you don't know him doesn't mean that I don't.

And by the way, I addressed more than you can disprove. You have to be wilfully ignorant to deny my response.

I'm not interested in disproving that a dead dude came back to life any more than I'm interested in disproving that Poseidon doesn't rules the seven seas.

The burden of proof is yours friend, you are the one making the claim. I get that you had feelz at some point, religion can give people hope - and that's good both physically and psychologically. But that doesn't make it true, no matter how deep you wade into logical fallacies.

What has made you bitter against God?

You know I gave you truth... There were over 500 eye witnesses to the resurrection of Christ! Many of those men sealed there faith in their own blood. If that's not proof enough, you don't want to believe.

What has made you bitter against God?

I'm not any more bitter against your god than I am against thor.

Agnostics and atheists don't have belief in gods universally, your god isn't special. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Nah.

You just don't want to believe.... There's overwhelming evidence of the resurrection of Jesus Christ that proves he is who he claims to be. You just love sin and don't want to bow down to him.
I've had prayers answered in exact detail and it couldn't have been anything but God and yet no proof I offer you will be enough because you love sin. You simply don't want to believe.

The resurrection of Christ is very well recorded in history. 500 eye witnesses, men that knew the truth died for that very truth. You just don't want to believe.

Why do you not use the letter “o” when spelling God?
Jews are weird.

Thanks for the respectfully asking.

It comes down to a verse in Torah about respecting the name of YHWH. We’re told not to let people destroy his name like the pagans do. So we stopped writing the vowels so his name could not be disrespected or destroyed. The name of YHWH has been so respected by us that we actually don’t know what it is. The Vowels have been lost to history. By removing the vowel it leaves no doubt who we’re talking about.

How does god choose what and who’s prayer to answer? Because he def isn’t answering all of them.

Also, you have no proof of anything really. That’s why it’s called faith, right?

Yep, I just love sin.

No offense dude but I can't argue against your feelz and emotions.

Like I said, you'd get offended and your position wouldn't change.

It's a Jewish custom held over from Hebrew.

Jews are forbidden to pronounce the actual name of God: the Tetragrammaton. In fact, the pronunciation was lost in antiquity, since no one but the High Priest ever pronounced it, and then only once a year. So they don't even attempt to pronounce Y-H-V-H.

The great rabbis of blessed memory created a principle of religious law, 'building a fence around the Torah'—which means, they have put rules in place to avoid even the possibility of committing an infraction of the actual Law. So Jews substitute other words to avoid 'taking the Lord's name in vain'—in prayer, they use the Hebrew equivalent of 'Lord', in conversation, they use the Hebrew equivalent of 'the Name'. Some religious Jews take this a step further and write G-d in English instead of the full word.

It's a Jewish thing.

Is that accurate Slice?
Very good, and close enough.
Hashem means “the name” and you will sometimes see me use that as well.

I would say peculiar..... God chose little Israel. It's still makes me marvel at the grace of God!

What are you going to do with Matthew 25:46?

And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
Death is final and everlasting punishment.
And as has already been said in this thread……that word is never translated as “everlasting “ in any other ancient literature. It’s “final”

He answers every prayer... It may be yes, no or not now, but he answers every prayer.
The evidence is overwhelming.

I'm not going to deny who I know personally. You should really consider the evidence again. What do you have to lose?

That's not what the bible says.

I have noticed on Wheel of Fortune that Jewish contestants never buy vowels, but they never win a game cause their pronunciations are always incorrect.

Evidence.

What's funny about believers is how they always to "thank god" when something good happens--but you never hear
the great bearded computer master in the sky mentioned much when awful things occur. Many people want to believe, and logic
isn't going to deter them.
