Or…he knows Stetson can be a loose canon whenever he throws the football and didn’t put the game in his hands. Sure does sound like an Heisman candidate. Everyone in the SEC knows that no lead is safe. That’s why you try to score as many points as you can.

NO! We have the best defense in College Football and have a very different football philosophy, scheme, and strategy. You came in averaging 50 points a game and didn't score a TD until 4 minutes left in the game in garbage time against mostly backups. (just saying)

It's Tennessee man, who calls timeouts up 30+ to "score as many points as you can".

Stop with this. Williams is there with a team that has 2 losses. Even if we beat those teams, if Hooker sustains that injury, he's out. If he plays at Vandy, probably puts up great numbers and he is still in the mix. I feel it was more like he exited the discussion after being injured while others were still playing and as such still in the limelight.
If we beat Georgia no matter what happened vs SC, Hooker would be in NY tonight friend. Hooker played his heart out in Columbia but our defense apparently stayed back in Knoxville. No way we should have lost that game with Hooker's effort prior to injury. Hyatt didn't show up that night either by the way.

Is that why that highly touted defense gave up 500 yards and 30 points to a mediocre LSU team? It’s a different ballgame whenever you aren’t playing in friendly confines.

Seeing as that other award that shall not be named is clearly voted upon by morons and haters who either don't know anything about football or don't like us, I believe it is high time that we institute our own award that will be voted upon by people who can appreciate and properly evaluate excellence in the game of football. Therefore, please place your vote for the VolNation College Football Player of the Year Award! The winner might receive the trophy below. Think carefully and vote wisely!

If you select anyone other than Hooker, GTFO!

I know Tennessee man, always about muh points and muh stats. Calling timeouts while up 30+ points to increase muh points and muh stats is quite telling.

Hooker's stats when he played a championship defense (GA), 195 yds, 0 TDs, 1 INT (just saying).

Down here in Georgia, it's about WINS and advancing to the National Championship.

Just admit that you were scared for a rematch on neutral and getting your dawg ass handed to you. You scored 3 pts in the second half on our atrocious defense. Just admit it and you’ll feel better. Otherwise GTFO VN site!

LSU lost by three touchdowns and were never in the game.

Overanalyze every game if you must, but Georgia has beaten every opponent on our schedule for two years straight.

Scared of a team the Dawgs held to 25% of their scoring average? No, but was looking forward to another exciting matchup in the playoffs with the Vols BUT... USCjr happened. :(

All we've done is beat every opponent on our schedule the last two years.

Mizzou game was little too close for comfort, KY game we were in complete control despite it being a low scoring bad weather game.

Now, after disposing of our SEC foes, we get to humiliate the Little Tens best two teams. Enjoy the show!
You actually haven't beaten every opponent on your schedule the last two years. Bama kicked your but in the SEC championship yet you were lucky enough to slip into the 4 team playoff. You realize, that under the two team playoff, your season would have been over at that point. GA's luck will run out; hopefully against OSU (another team which I hate to see win)
I hope TCU or Michigan kills Ohio State in the championship.

Yep, and that game was in Atlanta, as was the Oregon game...

So if Georgia / Tennessee was at Nissan Stadium, you would have won?

No worries, it's at Neyland next year and your friends from the other side of the mountains are coming to town.

You keep stating that you have won every game for two years straight but I recall you losing the SEC Championship 41-24 last year 🧐

Yes, we beat Bama in the re-match, so that's every team on the schedule.

Sorry friend, Georgia is about to expose the Little Ten.

By the way, Vols and Bama are both better than OSU or Michigan. but you already know that, so there's not much hope for them playing Georgia. Neither one of those teams would have made it with an SEC schedule.

No, I said every opponent on the schedule. Played Bama twice last year and beat them in the re-match when it really mattered.

If y’all play like you did against Missouri or Kentucky then you aren’t winning. Any given day you can lose if you don’t bring it.

Probably a good thing that y’all aren’t scheduled to play Bama annually like we are

I get that Bama has been the dominant team in the country for awhile, that honor NOW belongs to Georgia.

We would have been favored to beat Bama if we played them this year, just like we were favored to win both of the Bama matchups last year.

Show me where, quote it then.

Nope, you can't do it.
You didn’t win every game on the schedule last season. That may be hard for you to comprehend because you are on top of the world right now but you didn’t win every game on the schedule.

This year, we would have beaten you five out of ten times at Neyland, four out of ten times on a neutral field, and three out of ten times in Athens. Just so happens that we played our worst and you played your best.
