Pool is blue and clear. I spent $450 for them to open it, chemicalize it, vaccuum it, etc. They came 3 days to finish it. Then I bought 40 lbs of salt and a few chlorine tabs and my maintenance and effort, outside of cleaning out the Polaris, is done till we close in October.

Parts are in. I went to Lowe's and got some PVC pipe tonight. Still having a hard time with this clog, I've got the pipes ready to connect, I just need to get this clog fixed first.

I'm calling a plumbing company tomorrow. Hopefully they can get out in the next day or two.

Good luck my friend. Mines been giving me fits as well. Got some damn algae and it's finally starting to clear up. Should be open by weekend.

I'm still considering pouring a gallon or so of sulfuric acid (probably liquid fire brand), down the pipes. Since it's not hooked up to my pump or filter, idk if it could really do that much damage.

I haven't opened ours yet. Grandkids getting upset with me; guess I'll open sometime in the next week.

My buddy swears by that stuff. Just don't let it sit to long. Maybe use that thing you bought ( the balloon) to push water through it after a minute. My buddy says the pipes will get physically hot.
