poor Kyle has no teammates

He should know how it is, he was part of the 'in' crowd last year when it became known that Vickers was going elsewhere at the end of the season and they stopped letting him be part of team meetings and such. I doubt he had a problem with that then.

So Jeffy had a chance to help Kyle, but he helped Jamie instead? That is pretty crappy!

*I didn't watch the race yet, so I didn't know what had happened.

I think what Rick Hendrick is doing to him is pretty crappy too. I hope he gets into another car and does well out of spite to those that have treated him bad.

Well, Kyle is getting treated pretty bad, but he's my least favorite driver in Nascar so I don't feel too bad for him.

Kyle should just be thankful that his cars are just as good as they ever were. At least his teammate's cars didn't miraculously get 100% better once the announcement that he's leaving was made.

Kyle is not one of my favorites. He is still growing (up) --this is just part of that.

Being a test car on The Pink Team is prob not easy. He may surprise us--later. Time will tell.

Kyle still has time to get some revenge/payback on HMS, ala Brian Vickers last year at Talladega.

Just make sure Jr. isn't around this time, will ya.

I didn't like Kyle when he came to the Cup series. The main reason was that he pranced around like he was hot stuff and he wasn't. I just don't like drivers that think they are better than everyone else when they haven't proven anything yet. He still isn't one of my favorites, but he has toned down on his "holier than thou" attitude and he has proven that he can hang with the big dogs.

Even though I am a Dale Jr. fan, I still think it's crappy that Rick Hendrick would hire Jr. and get rid of Kyle, who has been doing just fine. I could understand if he was a bad driver, but he isn't.

I don't think his talent is the issue.. I think Hendrick about had enough of his temper tantrums and his stupid moves on the track. He has shown how much talent he has, but this year he's just been too damn wild. I saw the look on Rick Hendrick's face after Kyle wrecked Kurt at Charlotte.. he did NOT look happy. I'm sure the 5 team must be sick of repairing cars.

Kyle has an incident on the track, and he storms off on a temper tantrum.. I just don't think that's what Rick Hendrick wants. And they can try to play it off as miscommunication or whatever when Junior got in Kyle's car to finish that race...but I ain't buying it. Kyle stormed off yet again, and when his team had the car repaired and were ready for him to go back out there.. he was nowhere to be seen.

You do have a point about Kyle's results. He either has a really good finish or he totals the car. I still think Rick Hendrick should have been a man about it and sat down and told him what was going to happen instead of letting him find out the day of the Dale Jr. press conference.

I still don't think we have the whole story there... Kyle has changed his too many times. lol

But yeah, Kyle has had insanely fast cars all year, and it's either been feast or famine.. famine being the wall most of the time.

The thing that gets me about Kyle is he seemed to be more under control in his first two seasons in the Cup Series. It seems like this year has been his worst as far as wrecks and rookie-like/aggressive mistakes.

I think he just got too cocky and arrogant. He's always thinkin' "yeah... I'm da MAN!!!" Boom! There's the wall!

I thought Kyle was already shopping himself around to other teams, leading Hendrick to chose him to be the one replaced by Jr.?

Like Laura alluded to earlier, Kyle flip-flopped on that a couple times. He claimed that it was a mutual split and that he needed a fresh start and also claimed that he hadn't heard anything about being replaced until the morning of the news conference to introduce Jr. as his replacement.

Kyle is no doubt the future, he will be great in a few years... I like the way he drives, hes a lil wreckless sometimes but I think he will mature out of that.. even though hes a Hendrick guy Ive liked him some since last years Gateway Busch race (he was the only driver that signed autographs after qualifying).. he just doesnt fit in with the HMS guys.. Honestly Id like to see him go to DEI or RCR and do well

(BTW he narrowed his team search down to DEI, RCR, Ganassi, Gibbs, and Evernham so i guess he wont be with his brother :good!:)

Please Kyle don't go to DEI, RCR, or even Gibbs. I hope he goes to Ganassi because their equipment is garbage.

yeah, such garbage that Montoya managed to win in it a couple times this year.

Come on, you seriosuly think it matters what kind of equipment you have to be competitive on a road course. Montoya could have driven Kirk Shelmerdine's car from 3 years ago and won.
