poor Kyle has no teammates

Ganassi could be interesting.

Imagine this lineup in a few years: Montoya, Wheldon, Ky. Busch.

then why doesn't Said, Fellows, Pruett, PJ Jones, etc. win all the road course races?

Said, Felllows, and Pruett have all had excellent chances that they've blown. PJ Jones is terrible. It's funny how Robby dominated at Sonoma with bad equipment. And I know the #7 team keeps improving, but even in their first year they were great on the road courses. I gurantee that if you put Gordon, Stewart, etc. in bad equipment on a road course they would win. Equipment is just not a major issue on a road course.

then why don't they just race street cars? since equpiment means nothing.

looks at the results. the same teams that finish strong on road courses finsih strong on ovals. equipment matters. i'll give you JPM as the exception, but that team is going up with him behind the wheel.

edit: and it's not like JPM was driving sleds all weekend.

I fear for JPM's safety. Every driver out there is going to be gunning for him. He has the worst car control ever. The main reason I have such a strong dislike for Montoya is the way he acts. He acts like he's the best thing to ever happen and it gets annoying. He doensn't get along well with crew chiefs either. At first he was ok, but once he started bragging on himself in every interview I began to root more and more against him. It's one thing to have confidence, but it's totally different to go around braggin on yourself every week. It's also a bad sign when you here the opposing drivers spotters telling them to watch out because they know what a hazard Montoya is to everyone. Chip should have brought him up strictly in the Busch this year and raced him in Cup next year. He needs time to learn how to drive these cars.

I would chear for Marcos Ambrose anyday over Montoya as far as an international driver. Ambrose conducts himself well on the track.

there's nothing to learn that he already doesn't know about racing cars. his resume speaks for itself.

Then why does he keep making the same stupid mistakes every week. He's over aggressive and needs to be stopped. I can't wait to he gets into Tony again. He did earlier this year and Tony didn't do anything, but Tony would put him in his place. Montoya is a disgrace to Nascar.

it's not like Montoya just stepped onto the scene with a brash, aggressive driving style this year. he's driven that way for as long as i've watched him race. why change now?

his job isn't to come in and bow down to the other drivers. his job is to get to the front. he'll tell you that.

He causes a wreck every week. Maybe he should realize that these races are 400 and 500 miles and that one turn isn't a make or break turn. I'm beginning to wonder if JPM is related to Steven Wallace.

JPM had tons of talent, but I agree with TennFan, I cant stand his attitude... just like him flippin Jr off the other day, no respect....

That is simply not true. I can't think of one incident at New Hampshire, Sears Point, Michigan, Pocono, Dover, Charlotte, Richmond, Darlington, Talladega, Phoenix...

The only once I remember are Martinsville where he punted Raines, Texas where he drove in the corner hard with Stewart, and at Daytona where his ill-handling car drifted up into Harvick.

Junior isn't a god. why should he have to come in to the series and bow down to anybody?

if Jesus Christ was to cut me off in traffic, there's a pretty good chance i'd give him the finger.

I think thats takin it a little too far....:ermm:

its not the fact that it was Jr (i knew that would get brought up) but just that he has no class, no respect, and a poor attitidue.. he should be grateful that hes gettin a chance to make it in nascar.... hes makin alot of enemies already, thats gonna come back to hurt him
