A person can take care of their health and still get a cold or whatever, so you are wrong on your own account, again not a first for you. My remark had to with a rational person also taking care of their healthcare needs, meaning insurance as well. Sorry you can't dive into things and do some figuring.
I'm going on solely what you stated. Say what you mean, mean what you say. If it had to do with that come out and say that. As I said, I can't figure what you're thinking. It's hard to dive into a very simplistic statement and read that you're arguing for some comprehensive thought.
Let me ask you this. Do you pay for 100% of your hospital bills? Prescriptions? Everyone else in your home? Do you pay every single penny of the cost for your healthcare?
I think he was one of those characters from either Fraggle Rock or the Dark Crystal when I was a kid. There are too many people that vote on appearances and those types of nuances. Take his platform and put him in the body of someone else's man crush and you might have a winner....
So sorry Cspinn, if had known you were going to respond to it I would indeed have made it more clear for your sake. I agree it is hard for you to dive into simple statements.
I have deals with people for my healthcare, I pay them the agreed upon deal and they pay according to the deal. I pay any agreed differences directly to the healthcare provider. What does paying for every single penny have to do with me not wanting the government to raise taxes to pay for healthcare?
My point is that you do not pay the full cost. You depend on some outside entity to pay the bulk of the cost. You chip in a small amount and someone else pays the rest. The point is that you lose part of your salary due to this outside entity taking it from you and they cover your healthcare. The equivalent is the case with government healthcare. I am in no way supporting Hillary's move but if you hate losing tax money for healthcare then you should also argue the same thing you have now. Same logic. Whether you like it or not you have your taxes going into healthcare for government employees, politicians, veterans and their families, those on Medicare, and those children in middle class families with no healthcare. It is also going into Medicaid funds as well. As for the tax hikes, I think all of the plans that even allude to one being needed only affect a very high percentage of household income. Are you in that bracket?
Still lumping every one into one small category! Only democrats are rational!
Nice! k:
What is today's word boys and girls?
Marginalize............
It's funny: I said something about rational people thinking you should spend money that you have, unlike the last 7 years where trillions have been spent with little regard for when the bills will eventually come due. And you automatically assume that I was talking about you, or somebody (It's difficult to discern from you posts.)
If the shoe fits.....:whistling:
If you want to talk about marginalizing, let's look at the GOP: "to hell with gays, to hell with liberals, to hell with immigrants, to hell with pro-choice, to hell with everbody who doesn't agree with us."
