Interesting. 30 wins in 3 years, an Orange Bowl and CFP and turning the tide on Bama not enough of a good start for you? Give the damn man a chance to self scout this offseason.
I’ll do as I damn well please.
You do you.
Same problems we have had, should of self scouted last year and we might not even be having this conversation.

no, they will have next to zero impact. Travis Smith has a chance to see some minutes maybe. But as we saw with Mike Matthews, freshman don’t excel or play big minutes in this offense
Squirrel caught 30+ passes. Nimrod played as a redshirt freshman. Matthews was hurt in fall camp, and that is what delayed his development. Just not exactly true.

Chris Low was on 3HL (104.5 the Zone) this evening and they closed the segment talking payments to players. He said Cam Ward got 1.2M to go to Miami after Auburn didn’t want to pay. Auburn paid Arnold 1.5m this year and Sellers (usc jr) getting the same amount. OSU, Texas, and Oregon are the big spenders but doesn’t guarantee playoff success as both Miami and ole Miss spent more than UT. Said agents are driving up the market and teams are trying to lock in players prior to the House settlement. Interesting segment.
Auburn not taking Cam Ward to keep Peyton Thorn and then paying Arnold is…well…strange. I’m thinking Freeze has lost his evaluations of QB’s.

Y’all I wasn’t on this train before but seems like everybody tampers except us and I’m tired of that, and not being able to take the next big step in recruiting. We need to take a big step forward or we risk losing steam. Can’t keep losing key recruits down the stretch. And need to have our new people in the boat before we lose the ones in our position rooms. Playing from behind is not a good strategy. That goes for on the field too.

Rant over. For today.

And one of those 3 big spenders on their roster will win the national championship. Expect more of the same going forward

At least we have the moral victories for recruiting by not tampering and doing what it takes to win!

Agreed. Davenport (female host and AU fan) stated Freeze thought the money could be better spent plugging the other holes and Thorne would be adequate. Definitely miscalculation. Personally don’t think Arnold is worth 1.5.
